I’m sorry but is anyone else super confused as to how and why Max is still alive??? Like I love the boy and it hurt me deeply when he died in the books, but his death was an important plot point moving forward. It literally motivated the desperation at the end of CoG, pushed Izzy to kill Sebby, and drove the Lightwood family to become better as a whole. Like, for gods sake, Malec names one of their children after him and Izzy and Simon have their engagement party on his birthday. So why did the SH writers think that his death was unnecessary? I mean, they had no problem killing off Jocelyn, a character that is alive in the book world. Why keep Max?¿
