High fever- Jack placed his cold hands on Zarek's forehead to try to keep the shifter down as his fever worsened. "Z, calm down! Just relax, everything is going to be fine." He moved his hands down the other's bare chest and pushed him down. "Relax!"

Zarek squirmed under the cool touch, panting with blind eyes. He looked up at Jack and cried out in terror feeling the hands on his chest. “NO! Please no! I’ll be good! Hallow Please! What did I do that was so wrong?” He shoved at Jack, trying to get away from him, as the fever whispered promises of being tortured. Any gentle touch was  just a trick to gain more data. She never loved him. It was all just an act and he foolishly kept coming back to her side hoping she’d change.

People were being really affectionate lately. He didn’t understand where all these kisses were coming from. Though, at the same time, he was a bit relieved that they were just forehead kisses. Offering a light smirk to the girl, he let his staff fall to his shoulder. “Dunno what that was for, but thanks,” he would say, slight amusement in his voice.
