This... is THE MOST PRECIOUS THING EVER!!!
SOME MORE FANART FOR the Unity arc of the Harmony, Unity, Solidarity fanfic series. LOL. I thought this meme was pretty accurate to how Shadow felt towards Silver and it is precious. I love it so much and I love how protective Shad-dad is of bb silver. BUT YES... I DEF RECOMMEND READING THIS SERIES IF YOU ARE INTO SONADOW ITS SOOOOO GOOODDDDDD... (also you need to be 18+, there’s a lot of intense stuff surrounding the domestic fam life of these hogs.)
So twitter kinda reminded me of one my fav AU/theories: Shadow is Silver’s father. All the hints(that would work if it was canon that is) are very well known. But I wanted to think about other thing: with whom. So this is a mix between my preferences and what would work in canon. Despite liking Shadamy, I doubt it would be Amy, since she clearly loves only Sonic and I see more of their relationships to develop. Rouge? Kinda ship her with Knuckles and see between her and Shadow more of sibling relationship. Outside those two there aren’t any suitable candidate. And honestly it’s hard to imagine Shadow getting into serious relationship and with children. At least for now. Which rises a second issue: Silver is from 200 years future which definetely crosses those two out. There can be someone else in the future but meh not my jam. And besides there is another option, that would make sense. Though it’s not really a nice one. Shadow’s route. Someone would want to try another a shot at ultimate life-form/bioweapon. Just in general or because of Iblis/Ifrit. They would snatch Shadow’s DNA sample since he wasn’t really a failure and they need to work with something. And thus will create Silver. In canon the whatever lab was working on this project would be destroyed before Silver was prepared or even informed, since he was still very young therefore forgetting anything about lab altogether. AU/fanon: Shadow finds out about all of this, trashes the lab and researches and takes baby Silver away to raise him by himself(no Iblis/Ifrit), since he can’t just drop the baby and feels responsible for him, genetically he is his father.
The Story of Shaddad's Paradise
Once upon a time, in the vast and extensive kingdom of Aad, there lived a powerful king named Shaddad. Blessed with unparalleled wealth and resources, Shaddad's story takes a dramatic turn as he embarks on the gigantic mission of creating his own paradise, challenging God himself and his creation.
Driven by a desire for a paradise unlike any other, Shaddad spared no expense in constructing a magnificent haven. The grand structure, adorned with precious jewels, lush gardens, and flowing streams, stood as a testament to his opulence and power. Little did he know that his paradise would become the center of a captivating tale.
As the construction neared completion, Shaddad's anticipation grew, eager to witness the fruition of his ambitious endeavor. However, fate had other plans. Before reaching the gates of his paradise on Earth, Shaddad encountered the Angel of Death, signaling the end of his journey.
Refusing to accept the inevitable, Shaddad pleaded for a reprieve, but the Angel of Death, following Allah's decree, took his soul. In a moment of sorrow and regret, Shaddad's paradise vanished into the Earth, leaving behind a powerful lesson.
The story of Shaddad's Paradise serves as a cautionary tale, reminding us of the transient nature of worldly pursuits and the consequences of unchecked ambition. Shahdad's demise highlights the importance of humility, obedience, and gratitude in the face of blessings.
In the end, Shaddad's paradise may have crumbled, but the lessons from his tale endure. As we navigate the complexities of life, let us strive for a balance between ambition and humility, recognizing that true success lies in virtuous deeds and a steadfast connection with Allah. because to him we will return.
