It's got some Matrix-y shootouts before the Matrix was even a concept, and the intro is just straight up Batman Begins, but without Liam Neeson, which I think is a downgrade.
But it's wild! I'd call it influential if it hadn't been a bomb, which is such a shame.

He asks the Shadow Gear team (Levy and squad) if they’re a throuple and the Raijin Tribe / Thunder Legion (Laxus’s team) if they’re disbanding. When the real question in all our minds is if there is or was something with the Raijin Tribe

Trying to come up with a team name (i’ve already decided my OC’s guild is in Sylph Labyrinth) and it made me think about the wasted potential of Shadow Gear. It’s kinda cool how Shadow Gear means Shadow as in something behind light or fame or immense power since they aren’t super strong, and Gear as in they turn the works of the guild moreso than the rest. They really were meant to be the backbone🦴🩻 of Fairytail down to their name.
