I love that your au allows characters to be grouped up that haven’t been before.

Sonic and Rouge have so much potential. I feel like they compliment each other well and are the ultimate trouble makers. Like Sonic to me is the male version of Rouge. I can only imagine on the non adventure days they get bored and scheme to mess around with everyone lol

Bro! Rouge and Sonic's dynamic is one of my fave! They are the duo of true chaos and I love it for them. Rouge be like an older sister to him and I love it so much.

Also a favorite dynamic is Shadow and Tails! Sweet nerdy brothers that build things together I can't I love them.

Honorable mention: OMEGA! all interactions with best robot are a treat!

Welp! I'm out of the AU collision! That's alright, it was cool to make it to the top 16. Further than I thought I'd make it.

Now that I'm voted out and Tide of Embers is completed it's time to shift gears! While I'm outlining Tides of Darkness, I'll be working on my other AU Shadow Adventures.

At the moment I'm going back to the beginning of Shadow Adventure 2. Back when I first posted it I wrote it so quickly I barely took time to edit. So I'm going to touch up and polish the 3 fics I have for the series then get back into Shadow 06 so look forward to that!

Are Sonic & Rouge besties since they both get into a lot of mischief? Also, I head canon that they would work at Hooters

They are the BEST of friends. Their bond teeters on that of siblings similar to Shadow and Tails' relationship.

Currently they both work for GUN so I don't think they would work there since most of their work is covert. (Unless they have to go undercover for a mission then the answer is yes.)

Shadow and Tails is also a great duo to see together, especially with how their dynamic normally is canon wise. It’s a nice change of pace and it’s cute to see how protective Shadow is for Tails.

It’s also cool to see team hero and team dark interact with each other. The one part in Shadow Heroes where Sonic was sitting on top of Omega while teasing Knuckles about the emerald was adorable. You can tell Sonic learns from Rouge.

Omega is such a fun character to see him interact with anyone because of his bluntness and his nature in general. It’s a shame we don’t see him often in the canon universe, but I’m glad we have him in this one!

“Excuse me?” Sonic huffed looking insulted,

“YOUR VITALS ARE STILL WEAK IF YOU EXERT YOURSELF YOU WILL BECOME A HINDERANCE.” Omega said,

“Alright you two let’s just take a deep breath.” Rouge stepped in between them noticing Sonic was looking more and more angry.

“I DO NOT REQUIRE OXYGEN.” Omega said as Sonic’s taken aback by the comment before he begins to laugh.
