*Shadows are gathering in the base after leave*

Black-Ice: Good to see everyone in one piece… where’s Moose?

Shadow 10: He should be here somewhere. Not like he can hide

Black-Ice: *stares*

Shadow 10: … okay, he can hide

Moose, walking into the room: Hey! Sorry, I was just talking with Graves

Black-Ice, turning: Hey- OH

Shadow 10: WOW UH-

Moose: … what?

Black-Ice, waving his hand: Why… why is your skin so dark?

Moose: Oh! Graves and I were at his ranch and the sun was shining pretty bright the whole time

Shadow 10: Question, was the sun trying to bake you alive?

Moose, laughing: No, I just tan easily

Black-Ice: Ah… um… how much of you, uh, got some sun?

Shadow 10: *smacks Black-Ice*

I just came back after reading chapter 8 of Shadow 06 and I realized something.

Sonic is the one who has suffered the most trauma, first the death of Maria and Gerald by Gun's gulpa, then there is the metal attack, then the metal control over Shadow by Black Doom, then the Mephiles thing and finally Shadow's death.

Literally, Sonic is the one who has suffered the most trauma.

I like to think both Sonic and Shadow are traumatized by those situations. But for different reasons.

That thing you posted with the water sprayer has given me an idea

Phoenix uses said sprayer to discipline Graves when he’s being mean

Like at the whole betrayal thing in the MWii campaign? Yeah, Phoenix sprayed him in the fact before all the fighting broke out.

Ghost: You threatening us?

Graves: Soldier, I don’t make threats. I make promises.

Phoenix: *Spritzes Graves in the face* Bad, Phillip. Bad.

Phoenix also uses it on Black ice whenever he’s rough housing a little room much with one of the other shadows

Phoenix is the only one next to Graves who tries to maintain order with a spray bottle. Black-Ice gets sprayed so, so much. He’s a bit much for some Shadows and doesn’t even realize it. So, here comes Phoenix to get him to calm the fuck down. Black-Ice does wear eye makeup here and there when off the field, so often enough he has streaks of eyeliner going down his face because of Phoenix.

Everyone, not just Black-Ice, has gotten a taste of the spray bottle. Moose when he was ranting about the shit computer he had to work with? Spray. Graves when he was stressed and just being a dick to everyone? Spray. Ghost when he was tormenting some Shadows? Spray spray spray- No one is safe. Price has been sprayed more times than he’d like to admit. And Nik? He’s trying to get sprayed. Trying to be a nuisance because he thinks it’s funny.

Phoenix sprayed Bar once. Phoenix did it on reflex and froze after he realized who he had sprayed. Bar was too stunned by what happened to even react. Soap was losing his shit over it, too. Funnily enough, Bar does behave better around Phoenix now.

Welp! I'm out of the AU collision! That's alright, it was cool to make it to the top 16. Further than I thought I'd make it.

Now that I'm voted out and Tide of Embers is completed it's time to shift gears! While I'm outlining Tides of Darkness, I'll be working on my other AU Shadow Adventures.

At the moment I'm going back to the beginning of Shadow Adventure 2. Back when I first posted it I wrote it so quickly I barely took time to edit. So I'm going to touch up and polish the 3 fics I have for the series then get back into Shadow 06 so look forward to that!
