E.J.I - “Shadow Snakes”

Biography

“Shadow Snakes” are large, bulky creatures standing at 6’9. They have red spines reaching from the back of the head downward. These spines will stand up when the creature is either surprised or in danger. These spines are mildly toxic. Causing a slight paralysis to whatever body part they come into contact with. It is currently unknown whether this creature is reptilian in nature or just a sentient form of blocked light.

The creatures eye is yellow, the pupil is a bright red and the iris is a deep black color. The eye is similar to that of a cat and will become thinner to help the creature see farther. Shadow Snakes cannot coil their prey without shrinking their bodies mass [ Much similar to how a rubber band would become thinner the more you stretch it out, making it more likely to snap and break ]. Making them easier to kill. For this reason Shadow Snakes will rarely coil their prey.

The markings on their skin is different from others of the Shadow species in a way that they end in sharp corners and don’t run smoothly like Shadow Loners or Shadow Scythes. Upon looking at these markings for too long [A presumed hour and thirty minutes.] a memetic code will start to overrun the brain. Causing most people to become extremely dizzy. Often making them fall over or trip on nothing. This makes them easier to hunt and kill. Shadows Snakes can consume things as large as a human child completely whole. Given the said child is about average in weight.

“We had a problem at Headquarters today. Some kind of giant creature broke in. It killed about ██ on site guards. A few researchers and a janitor or two. We’re not sure what it is. But if we find. We’ll have to kill it immediately. Something that dangerous should not be allowed to roam freely.”

“Well we found what it was. Only took about an hour. Maybe an hour and a half to properly locate it, block it off, and..(Sigh) capture it. Honestly, I don't know why we take these things into custody. I would rather it dead than alive. Seriously. That took so many tranqs before it went down. Not to mention the fact that most of my team is still recovering from whatever paralysis that creature placed upon them. It didn’t even touch them which is strange enough..”

“So apparently this thing can cause your brain to shut down. Or..what did they say..Something about it’s markings can cause your brain to act “funny”. Screwing with the frontal lobe. They’ve decided to call it a “Shadow Snake”. I don’t know why they bothered caging that thing in detainment. If it’s apart of the “Shadow” species like they say, than the damned thing can just make a warp it’s way out of it’s detainment cell. Wreaking more havoc on this area..”
