Sunday Shadow Work 🖤
This is for my Journaling babies, my Shadow work baddies & my tarot bitches. Welcome to Sunday Shadow work, where we not only learn about a Tarot Card, but we use that meaning to reflect..
Sunday's are ruled by the sun, associated with healing & success. What better day to find that warm spot in your window or on the floor, shining light onto your shadows to heal? So, grab your journals, your potions & settle into your favorite spot. 🖤✨️
I always use the Hermit as my appointed card for Shadow work. This is guiding light towards the shadows I need to work with, work in, and get acquainted with.
If you would like your own personalized Shadow work for the week, send a DM. I do these every Sunday for $1 USD.

Card of the week: Nine of Cups | Upright
Keywords: Gratitude, Satisfaction, Wishes come true.
The Nine of Cups, or Chalices, is a card that shows wishes coming true. This card can show self fulfillment, happiness, and success. If you have recently experienced sorrow, turmoil, or conflict, this card shows the reprise of that. This is a card of recognition in your career, or even a boost in the fame-game. This card shows progression in your career and being acknowledged for all your hard work. In love, this card shows emotional connections and open communication within your relationship. It could also signify a partner or the type of love language you speak. It's possible that after a bout of arguments, you've both come to a time of appreciation for one another. In health, you're feeling good! You're feeling yourself, taking care of the way you look and dress. It also shows another form of relief after being ill for some time. All in all, you're generally feeling happy and good about yourself and what you're doing.
Prompts:
🧡What am I grateful for?
🖤How can I show up & show out in my career/relationship/myself?
🧡How can I show my love language to my partner?
🖤In what ways can I better take care of myself?
My real dream is to be successful, in love, and have a beautiful family. I want to grow old with the support of a man or woman who equally shares my ideas, loves me, someone who tells me that something reminded them of me at the store earlier that day. They tell me they want me forever, and that a child with me would be quite the most beautiful phenomenon that could be on this big planet of ours. Me as an amazing mom. Me, making lunches for her before school, and sitting on the floor with her at night watching her finger-paint soft roses into the sketch book. Them, looking over us just smiling. My real dream is healthy love, in all of the different ways.

29 Days of Shadow Work
hello, and welcome back!
This NEW Shadow Work calendar is a follow-up to my very first; 31 Days of Shadow Work, and my recent sequel; 30 Days of Shadow Work! 🔮
I'm here to introduce the NEW '29 Days of shadow Work' deep-dive calendar-- this month’s spin is the biggest question of all; WHY?! why do you think, why do you feel, etc... These prompts may seem a little longer because I am blatantly asking you WHY❔❕
My idea this time is for you to take these prompts and give them all you got; delve as deeply as you can into each question-- maybe try dedicating a full front and back page for each prompt! you will need = time, patience, a new (or well-loved) journal & a favorite writing utensil! 📖🖊
BUT-- please remember: this isn’t a test! let your train of thought flow and see what you’re able to uncover the deeper you allow yourself to unconsciously take you! there are no right or wrong answers, just remember to keep writing until you feel like you've said all you can 💜
Let me know if you have any questions or thoughts or feedback!!

Shadow Work ⋆⁺₊⋆ ☾⋆⁺₊⋆
I put together a few texts I found online as an intro before I start journaling on this blog.
Shadow work is when you explore the depths of your soul in order to heal and grow. It’s an introspective practice based on the theory we all have a shadow self that we must be conscious of. Our shadow consists of those parts of ourselves we hide and repress by pushing them down into our subconscious, which may include aggression, fear, our toxic traits and flaws, shame and selfishness. By embracing and bringing these things to the surface, we can understand ourselves better, live more authentically and heal our wounds. It’s not easy, but shadow work is a vital part of our spiritual journey; many of us already do it without knowing what it’s called. To work with your shadow self you may:
☼ Journal your thoughts and feelings;
☼ Observe your reactions to different issues and situations;
☼ Learn to respond, not react;
☼ Meditate on the aspects of your shadow to get to know it better;
☼ Practice being present and conscious;
☼ Practice emotional inquiry: “why do I feel like this?”
Recognize your shadow self. It manifests in aspects of your personality that have a negative impact on your balance, like: lack of boundaries, self sabotage, lack of confidence, fear of speaking up for yourself, reluctance to say no, jealousy, anxiety, passive aggressiveness, comparing yourself to others, always putting yourself last, not doing what you know is good for you, addictions, etc.
The dark moon is heavily associated with shadow work. It’s a phase in which many witches choose not to perform magic, since it generally represents the space between two cycles, the silence between death and rebirth. But it’s the perfect time to perform shadow magic; the darkness holds both everything we fear and all we can wish for. The dark moon in itself only lasts 3 days before the new moon arrives with the first visible sliver of light, but, to fuel your shadow magic, you must cultivate self awareness every day, which means:
☽ Notice when you judge, criticize or blame, and pause: what in yourself are you avoiding by focusing externally?
☽ When you feel jealousy, anger, or self pity, pause: what core belief is underneath this feeling?
☽ Practice seeing yourself in other people and expand your empathy.
☽ Practice radical responsibility for your emotions and reactions rather than blaming others.
☽ Be honest about your shadow thoughts and fears, then remind yourself what is true.
