Live feeding is illegal in some countries?????? Like???? What?????
There are countries where live feeding, declawing, debarking, cropping, docking and use of corrective collars are all illegal.
In the case of most of those things, I wish America would follow suit. We’re a little behind on animal welfare.
The only thing I’m unsure of is live feeding. Because whenever I say anything against live feeding people are quick to chime in to remind me that some snakes just won’t take pre-killed.
So my question then, is what the heck do they do in countries where it’s literally illegal?
I’m wondering if this is the same scenario as “Some dogs need to be docked or they’ll hurt their tails!” where I wonder why these tail injuries somehow don’t seem to be a huge issue in countries where docking is illegal... or if this is a genuine problem even in countries where live-feeding is illegal.
