Honestly, I think I prefer the sketches more, but that's just a thing that happens. 😅

This borrows heavily from the Excalibur run of comics from the 80s, written by Chris Claremont. Specifically issues 13 and 14 during the ‘Cross-Time Caper’.  (There is an uncanny likeness of William’s mother, The Royal Consort, to Princess Diana. And the fact that he marries a ‘Kate’ really tickles my fancy.)

Kitty woke to the gentle caresses of fur-covered fingers tracing patterns across her chest. They were accompanied by sweet kisses on her shoulder. She smiled in the dim light of the lighthouse.

They hadn’t been back here for years, but Meggan and Brian had asked them to look into a matter for the Omniversal Majestrix and they didn’t hesitate to say yes. And since the Nexus was still located in the basement of the lighthouse, it only made sense to stay there.

Their errand for Brian had not taken long. They just had to stop in and check on Kate and Billy. Make sure their reign was going as smoothly as the last time they visited. (You could never be sure with the Queen Mother. She had only deigned to give up control of the kingdom upon William’s 25th birthday.)

All was well with Kate and Billy, they were expecting their third child soon. Another girl, to keep her older sister and brother company. The Crown Princess, Charlotte was first in line to the throne, while her twin brother, George Brian (affectionately called Bertie), was second. Everything was as expected in the Kingdom, so Kitty and Kurt decided to use the rest of the week as vacation to catch up with their British friends before returning to the States.

Which led to lazy morning cuddles, which seemed to be heading in an entirely heated direction.

Kitty rolled over to cuddle into Kurt’s chest, breathing in the warm, slightly acrid smell of her teleporting boyfriend. She tilted her head up as she felt his tail stroke down her back and curl around her leg. “Good morning, elf. Did you have plans for that tail, or were you just teasing me?”

“Would I do that, kätzchen?” he replied, a smirk turning up the corners of his mouth.

She leaned up and captured his mouth in a searing kiss, before pulling away slightly with a tug on his hair, “Not if you value your life, fuzzy elf.”

“Then by all means, liebling, let me make it up to you…” His voice trailed off as he moved down her body, leaving sharp kisses down her torso, stopping at each breast to softly tease each nipple. His three-fingered hands tracing down her body as he went, settling on her hips as he rolled her to her back and settled between her legs underneath the duvet.

Kitty sighed and settled her hands in his hair, enjoying the velvety texture of the soft curls. She loved waking up to an amorous Kurt. It always ended well for her.

Kurt took care to make sure his canines didn’t nic her in a delicate spot as he gently kissed along her lower lips, lightly suckling her labia before darting his tongue out to swirl around her clit. The besties!

Kitty and Kurt are by far my favorite X-Men. I love their “Evolution” incarnations. They’re a perfect mix of silly and serious, and they almost always have each others’ backs. Plus, they both remind me of cats!
