Okay so I read your angst corner on the starscrouge (sp?) And I don't know if you noticed in the game that when noctis wakes up from his ten year nap and ends up in galdain quay. If you go to the bench where you normally find dino you find the remains of his clothes instead. Which implies that Dino has been taken over by the darkness and is long gone.
