if I had a nickel for every time I accidentally got a superhero dad I’d have two nickels. which isn’t a lot, but it’s weird that it happened twice.
Forgot to crosspost from AO3 last summer, but did these for shadowfaerieammy for last year's @dpxdc-summer-exchange. Also did a set of treats for the other participants, but I figured my main contributions should get a post of their own, haha.
I really just thought a) of course Jason would try to adopt this mouthy “street kid” he met sneaking around some random Gotham back alley and of course Kon would try to adopt this mouthy superpowered hybrid clone he met doing flashy and destructive superhero shit in China, and b) of course Dani would not inform either of her new dads that she has another dad. Lbr Dani is just the unaccompanied minor version of a “stray” cat that actually is getting fed and petted and spoiled to heck at multiple houses.
Admittedly, she probably has yet to realize that either of them are her dads, but in her defense, she’s not familiar with being parented, like, as an experience?
