This is what Jace and Alec’s relationship should be, their brothers, they support eachother, not being used as a plot point,

As much as I love the show, one thing that really annoyed me is that they tried to create this narrative that they would die without eachother, they could feel eachothers pain, they had a soul binding bond, they were parabatai,

But then they never spoke, they never showed it, it just felt like empty words, it goes to show that just them supporting and laughing with eachother is enough to show how much they care for one another

No soul-crushing events, just simple brotherly love

In the newest episode, eventhough she knew she had just recovered from a yin fen addiction, she still went and saved Simon's life, risking the addiction. She cared about him enough to do that. And just the fact that she went with him to find the world's oldest vampire, knowing she is a nephilim, and possibly get killed, she still cared about him enough to go risking her own life.
