Malectober 2025 is here!!
In case you don’t know what we do, here’s an introduction post.
Sooo here’s how this year works -
We’ve got 4 weeks in October, with each week having its own theme, which is hopefully pretty apparent from the title itself. The first 6 prompts of each week are single words, and the last one is a dialogue prompt.
And at the end, for the last three days of October, you can do as you wish or leave them out entirely, or follow the prompts I’ve given. Plus a few extras to switch out on the ones you’re stuck.
Of course, I only did the prompts this way for funsies. You can choose to ignore the weekly themes entirely, mix and match prompts of different weeks, etc etc. The world is your oyster. There’s no right way to do Malectober.
Now, let me add some guidelines -
If you’re posting on Tumblr, make sure to tag this account AND add #malectober within the first five tags. This will make it easier for me to find and reblog your work!
Anything goes, be it fic, fanart, moodboards, playlists, edits, or even a mix of all of these.
For those posting on Ao3, please add them to the given Ao3 collection
No AI works will be allowed.
Tag appropriately, both on Tumblr and Ao3. If your fic is nsfw, make sure to put it under a “readmore”
You can continue posting even after October if you want to.
For those not participating, make sure to show the creators lots of love!!
And to those who are participating, don’t stress yourself out over this, just do as much as you can. Most importantly, HAVE FUN!!

I will say, despite my hatred for shtv, some of the casting decisions were pretty good. aside from Alec and Izzy i LOVED Luke Baines as Sebastian. He did well with the material that he was given, and physically he was definitely perfect, at least for me. Like him with this look was everything
Honestly, the casting department ate here, because both of these mother–daughter duos look so much alike they could pass for real family.
