Guinevere my beloved, you deserved better. i don't know how fond of prompt twisting you merlin(ktober) people are, but i really wanted to draw her and i have other plans for the third prompt. stay tuned!

i really need to start spending my time on something else. this isn't even funny anymore.

to be fair, i have been left alone with rp thoughts, a sketchbook, a tablet, and listening to rule 34 by fish in a birdcage.

so, @worthyprnce made a really beautiful knight self-portrait over on bluesky. and i had some errands to run, so naturally, i made this instead.

fun fact: i hate drawing armour, and weapons, and hands, and small intricate flowers, and myself... so i slapped it all together and called it fun. :D

chainmail is based on bbc merlin knights, because of course it is. the bottom flowers are supposed to be heather, and on the top is supposed to be Sphagnum moss of undisclosed species. both are very important to me. the coat of arms has my favorite insect.

i had to make quite a few decisions. i was debating whether to include my glasses or not, but i don't look like myself without them, so i did. i also considered colouring the way i'm used to from before, but i groaned internally just imagining the process (i never enjoyed it very much, i actually always kinda hated colouring), so i opted for what sounded more fun.

not very happy with the sword, but i couldn't be arsed to look up a reference, so. i'll take it.

for those of you who know me irl. what do you mean i don't look like this?? shut up. :D

overall i really did have fun, i'm glad i followed Apollo's example <33

now i'm gonna go change my profile picture to this. because i can.

when it comes to courage, there's noone to draw but Courage himself. unfortunately, Arthur has always been a struggle for me, i can never get his face quite right. but hey. i tried.

i was intending to do a toast as in goblets raised. i really was. but this vision (that i'm not skilled enough to execute how i'd like but eh. i tried.) wouldn't leave me alone. 🫩

okay, this one is niche, i admit. but there was hardly any choice for me.

QUEEN (noun): A female monarch.

@geraskierfanficprompts i hope i have done our beloved crow queen justice, although i do admit i probably should've made her a little scarier. she's so very dear to me.

context for the unknowing: she's an OC in our Merlin roleplay, and she's been put through A Lot (largely by my own fault). if you want to read some interactions with her, i really encourage you to do so. she's a really interesting character and we miss her dearly since the player decided to step back for a while (which is okay! we understand! we just miss her).

personal note to @geraskierfanficprompts: i hope i'm not adding insult to injury. i just love her and wanted to draw her. i hope you don't mind.
