“Sik, you’re fuckin’ tall.” Skip gasped in awe.
Alex looked up at the incredibly tall man, very briefly being reminded of what a chaotic and unfortunate bisexual hoe he was before he could work out some words. “Ash isn’t taking visitors right now. Who did you say you were again?” He asked cautiously. Ash was, in fact, still sleeping because no one wanted to take the risk of being the one to wake him. Honestly, it destroyed Alex’s nerves when he drew the short stick.

“It’s... Really disconcerting to see people my age treating relationships and failed history exams like life threatening situations.”

Death was inevitable. He was used to death. He always expected to be assassinated before hitting middle age, its why Yue hired bodyguards. The bodyguards knew what they were getting into, he knew what they were getting into.
He didn’t expect to fall in love with Blanca. And yet he had. They had four wonderful years together, as more than bodyguard and master. As lovers.
Until a bullet ended all of it. Yue heard the shot, panicking and looking around. Blanca was in front of him, and dropped to the floor, clutching his chest.
“NO.” Yue screamed and dropped beside him, trying to put pressure on the wound. Who could ever get the jump on Blanca, who seemed to be almost inhuman in his ability to sense people, and shoot. He never missed, he was practically immortal.
Blood. There was so much blood. Yue stared, watching it seep through his fingers, through Blanca’s white shirt.
Distantly he could hear screaming. Later they said it was him
Blanca. Blanca couldn’t die. “You said you’d never leave!” He sobbed.
The coffin, draped in the Kazakh flag, the sleek black coffin had a Russian star for service stamped at the foot.
He’d made sure Blanca was dressed in his finest suit, a silk scarf wrapped around his neck and chest, one of Yue’s.
They’d bury him next to Natasha. Yue wanted to scream that he didn’t want that, but his family had come to collect the body, and Yue knew he had no claim to the body.
He went through the motions of the funeral, thanking Blanca’s mother for her son’s service.
I loved him. I loved him and he’s gone. I got him killed.
He went home and drank after watching the coffin loaded on the plane. Heavy drinking. Yue refused to see anyone. Refused to live.
Everyone dies.
Death is inevitable.
"Blanca, was it?" Izaya asked once he was alone in the tea room with the tall, broad man. Yue-Lung had just left to attend to other matters, entrusting his guest to the undoubtedly capable and well dressed figure. "Has anyone ever complimented you on your eyes?" He asked with a grin.

— Warm… No, more than that. Hot. That was how one could describe this day. Hot. And humid. Certainly not one that the rogue generally found herself liking. For starters, it was uncomfortable. It made people sweat – especially those who donned a set of armour at that moment – and it made her hair frizz. Something she was sure the male beside her likely wished to comment on but as of yet had remained blissfully silent about thus far. Still, as it were, they had found themselves alone in the middle of nowhere, in the shade provided by a vast canopy of leaves above.
Now, despite the discomfort the weather was bringing her, Vani found herself unmistakenly comfortable in the taller male’s presence. So much so, that she had actually laid down on the ground, her arms behind her head, her gaze pointedly on the foliage above, her scarf stripped from her neck and placed to one side. A small, almost undiscernable smile prickled at her lips. It mattered not that a few of her larger scars were on show now. Besides, she was rather fond of them anyway, so it wasn’t as if she had actually been hiding them to begin with.
A foot was to tap to some unheard music, a low hum passing her lips. She was, for lack of a better term, content. Happy, almost. Not that she would ever openly admit such. To anyone. Not even the male that lay beside her. Regardless of whatever their relationship may be now. Yet it was his very presence that had her feeling as such. That much she knew.
That much she was certain
Foot would continue to tap, her low hum morphing now into a tune. Yet both were to stop when she felt his touch. Soft upon one of her larger scars. It wasn’t as if he hadn’t known they were there and it certainly wasn’t as if it had been the first time he had seen this one in particular. But it certainly was the first time he had actively chosen to touch it. Now, it was a testament to how far their relationship had progressed even before it had gotten to this point. There had been no flinch, no lashing out, no nothing. Nothing, that was, except for a look of quiet confusion. A look, she was soon to find, that would go entirely unnoticed by the ninja. His own gaze focused as his fingers traced not just that single scar, but all the visible ones that laced her arm.
A quiet laugh escaped her smaller frame, her expression no longer confused and rather more amused. Yet it would seem that even an utterance as small as that was to be enough to pull his attention to her entirely. She could see all at once the light dusting of colour rise on his cheeks. She could see his hand rise as if to pull his mask up once more and hide that which she had already seen. But that was to be a hand that was to be quickly caught by her own. Oh no, there was to be no hiding away, after all.
Her hand lingered on his as she looked away once again, shifting only when he himself moved. Yet it would seem that he wasn’t moving away, but rather towards her. His face flushed as he looked down at her. Not a word was to be spoken, that was, not a word could be spoken. For before she could even utter a word his lips had connected with her own. A light action, cautious, almost as if he were testing the waters. Again she moved, a hand rising to grab at his clothing, pulling him closer still. His kiss returned with one of her own, one that was slow and almost as cautious as his.
Allowing this to linger for but a moment longer, they broke apart. No distance was to be made, however, and her hand certainly never left his clothing. Instead, she’d smile. One that was genuine. One that was warm.
Yes. It was definitely safe to say, the rogue was happy.
shadowruled replied to your post: ROARS because she is the alpha bear!!
Alpha huh? More like the Beta.
Sorry, Cyclopes, can’t hear you while she’s napping.
