Hello and happy month of Yule y’all! This month, I’m doing something just a bit different. I have for you what is easily my favorite city map so far! Here on Tumblr, you can see the Blank and Fantasy versions, but if you head over to my Ko-fi, you can find the Modern/Sci-fi version as well, and all three versions will be a slightly higher quality (though still available for free!) Telos Aer (or whatever you choose to rename it!) has been designed to work, like all my maps, in any setting and system, though originally was designed with a modern/sci-fi bent in mind.
Telos Aer is a city on the move, with the promise of riches for the clever and ambitious. It’s got everything a traveler, adventurer, runner, or regular person could want, as long as they’ve got the money to pay for it. Take the alleys and side streets in whatever direction you want, filling the city with opportunity or threat as you see fit for your game!
These maps were made using Dungeon Scrawl and GIMP for editing and the two here are 72ppi while those on Ko-fi are 120ppi. The blank map is 6650x5100 pixels and the labeled map is 6650x8150 pixels.
On a personal note, I’m planning on taking much of December off. I plan on posting at least one more chapter of The Library At the End of the World this month, but otherwise I’m going to rest and enjoy the holidays. If you’ve seen something you like in any of the work I’ve posted, please considering tossing a couple dollars my way on Ko-fi. Every dollar makes a huge difference to me and I’d be extremely grateful.
Have a wonderful December y’all, I’ll see you soon!
I legitimately cannot believe I have not graced y’all with Tetratomine yet. Or, if I have, completely forgotten that I did so. So I’m fixing that particular oversight.
This is Tetratomine, city of... well, a lot of things. This was one of the first city maps I made and I’ve updated it a few times since then. If you’ve checked out my post about worlds for a sci-fi setting (check it out here), this is that Tetratomine in all its glory!
Short version of lore: Tetratomine was originally a sitting floating on a toxic cloud bank on a gas giant. In it’s current form, it’s one city that stretches across about 33% of that world. But of course, what’s the point of posting these if I don’t expect you to change them! Features include the residential district (upper left), the barrens/slums (central), and the industrial sector (right). As you can likely tell, the citizens of the slums have taken it upon themselves to expand their little portion of the city! Mostly with questionable welding and sheet metal.
If you’d like more specifics on Tetratomine, check out the link above! Otherwise, make up whatever lore you’d like! If you make something cool, feel free to let me know as well!!!
All three versions are 4200x2229 pixels at 200ppi and they all come in at less than 5mb, perfect for uploading to your play program of choice.
As always, if you’d like to support me and what I do, head over to my Ko-fi and drop a tip (I’m still saving up to move, so any help is wildly appreciated!) or go over to Gumroad and check out some of my higher res maps!
Happy July y’all! This month, I’m trying something a little different. Orbital Station 735 is now available up on my shop! It’s perfect for any shadowrun or modern ttrpg game you’re running and available in 3 versions in 2 resolutions. Y’all, seriously, I’m very happy with how this one came out. I love the idea of a space station being the location for a run, because who doesn’t, right?
Pick up yours now at my ko-fi shop, and have a great July! :D

New month, new map! This month, enjoy a map perfect for a modern or sci-fi campaign and fit for any type of heist or raid mission! you never know when your group may need to steal some prototype gear from a secured warehouse!
As always, higher res versions of the free map are available in my shop, as well as blank and player variants of the map! Check them out if you’re looking for more flavor for your game. Links at the top! And right here for good measure:

On a personal note, unrelated to the map, recent events involving SCOTUS and Roe v Wade have me fighting anxiety regularly. It isn’t just women’s rights that will be jeopardized, but access to contraceptives, marriage rights, and a litany of other rights whose rulings could be overturned using the same logic that could overturn Roe v Wade. I’m not looking to panic anyone; this is a cartography blog. I’m just asking you, if you’ve got the energy and resources, to act. Contact your state and national senators. Urge them to codify laws to protect rights that have previously only been protected by SCOTUS rulings. It may be all we can do, but we need to do it.
Anyway, if you’ve gotten this far, I appreciate you and I hope you have a wonderful day.
Happy November y’all! This month, I’m bringing you a quick dungeon map, ready for use in your D&D, Pathfinder, Shadowrun, or any other system campaign!
The idea behind this map was offered to me by my partner and it was basically “What if an underground anarchist compound?”. So that’s exactly what I made. This place is built into abandoned sewers and expanded out into some old cave systems. Comes complete with housing, an armory, comm center, the whole nine yards. Of course, if those don’t fit with your campaign grab the blank version and edit as you see fit!
Both maps are 8800x5400 pixels at 72ppi for online use and come in at around 3mb each, so perfect for sharing with your players!
You can pick up a print quality version without watermark over on Gumroad and if you like my work and want to see me keep creating, toss a tip my way over on Ko-fi!
Sorry this one’s a bit late; joint problems and a pulled back make sitting at my computer difficult atm. But! Maps must be had! So I give you a Bioweapon Research Lab!
This map was designed to act as a mission map for a sci-fi or modern setting and was tested in a game for Shadowrun 5E. I’ve intentionally left things relatively open and vague as these missions often vary wildly depending on the group and GM. Besides that though, it has everything you need to drop a mission in!
All versions of the map are 4200x2229 pixels and 200ppi and all come in at less than 3MB so they’re easy to send out to players if you so desire! These were created using Autodesk Sketch and edited in GIMP.
If you’ve gotten this far and like what I do, why not toss a few dollars in my tip jar? You’ll help me keep creating, restore my faith in humanity, buy me some much needed caffeine, and generally do a good deed for the month! And really how could you resist a 4 in 1 deal like that? Check out my links above or below if you’re interested in helping!
Today I have for you Lab R7-A32, a biomechanical black lab situated deep within a radioactive wasteland (or, as was the case in my game, the poisonous inner layer of a gas giant). Surrounded by ruins of older buildings (as designated by the lighter outlines on the map), R7-A32 includes patient cells, researcher dorms, and a Dangerous Materials Lockdown room. And that’s not to mention the various defenses and security systems protecting the place.
R7-A32 was built for Shadowrun but could easily be incorporated into Numenera as a ruin, Cyberpunk as a black lab, Savage Worlds, Star Wars, frankly literally any system with a bit of tech in it. I’m sure you could also make adjustments for classic D&D as well, but I don’t have the idea off the top of my head!
As always, an unlabeled B&W version is available on my Ko-fi. Lore will be posted Monday. While you’re checking out either, considering chipping in a dollar or two to help me out! I’d really appreciate it!
On a final note that should probably be its own post but isn’t, I’m adjusting the publication schedule of maps. From now on, you’ll be getting one map per month, with a few bump-reblogs of that map throughout the month. Because burn out sucks y’all.
This time with another city map! This is Xytorl, a city situated deep in a moderately carnivorous jungle on the planet of Zeyphon. Home to around 1.8 million people, Xytorl has something of a reputation for being a city of brigands; laws exist only for the convenience of those in charge.
It doesn’t the river that cuts through the city happens to teem with creatures more than happy to devour any flesh that gets “accidentally” dropped the few hundred feet down to them. To learn more about Xytorl, check out the lore post on monday!
As always, maps are free to use (see the pinned post for conditions) and blanks are available over on my Ko-Fi. Speaking of, the holidays are coming up and if you have a few dollars to send my way, it would be deeply appreciated! Anything makes a difference and helps me keep going!
