Hello and happy month of Yule y’all! This month, I’m doing something just a bit different. I have for you what is easily my favorite city map so far! Here on Tumblr, you can see the Blank and Fantasy versions, but if you head over to my Ko-fi, you can find the Modern/Sci-fi version as well, and all three versions will be a slightly higher quality (though still available for free!) Telos Aer (or whatever you choose to rename it!) has been designed to work, like all my maps, in any setting and system, though originally was designed with a modern/sci-fi bent in mind.
Telos Aer is a city on the move, with the promise of riches for the clever and ambitious. It’s got everything a traveler, adventurer, runner, or regular person could want, as long as they’ve got the money to pay for it. Take the alleys and side streets in whatever direction you want, filling the city with opportunity or threat as you see fit for your game!
These maps were made using Dungeon Scrawl and GIMP for editing and the two here are 72ppi while those on Ko-fi are 120ppi. The blank map is 6650x5100 pixels and the labeled map is 6650x8150 pixels.
On a personal note, I’m planning on taking much of December off. I plan on posting at least one more chapter of The Library At the End of the World this month, but otherwise I’m going to rest and enjoy the holidays. If you’ve seen something you like in any of the work I’ve posted, please considering tossing a couple dollars my way on Ko-fi. Every dollar makes a huge difference to me and I’d be extremely grateful.
Have a wonderful December y’all, I’ll see you soon!
So, slight change of plans! Instead of posting some lore content over on WattPad, I decided to finishing working on a project that’s been some time in the making.
In case you hadn’t noticed, I enjoy playing myself some Shadowrun 5E. Any of you who’ve played it though, know that the rules and content are... rough. Let’s say rough. Don’t get me wrong, the amount of content Catalyst has released for 5E is honestly impressive and provides an incredible level of options. But they also spread it across 6 books and the rules were already a bit esoteric. So I fixed them.
Head over the Google Drive link and you can check out a full rework of 5E rules for Shadowrun, including magic and Cybercombat. This includes quick reference pages for stats, explanations of what all of the terms mean, background details for things like Hosts and Grids, and a breakdown of the basically everything combat related.
I even reworked how combat turns play out in terms of action options. And threw in some fun new Edge options (because wow that was under utilized). As always, everything you see is completely free to use privately, with permissions required for public use.
But I’m also not done. Head over to my Ko-Fi page and you can find PDFs of every (and yes, I mean every) spell, program, and piece of Cyber or Bioware available in 5E. Oraganized for your convenience. Some of it has been reworked to fit the new rules, but it’s all there regardless. Every. Single. One. And it’s all searchable. And free, unless you decide that throwing me a few dollars for my work is up your alley. Which, I hope it is! Because seriously, I could use a coffee. Or six.
So, happy Wednesday and go forth to enjoy Shadowrun with these new rules and organizations! I hope they help!!
