Dungeondraft: Painterly Terrain
My terrain packs for Dungeondraft are out! Get the Megapack of all my Painterly materials for $18.
This is a fairly niche resource, but having spent a couple of weekends recently making tabletop maps for TTRPG games I found myself frustrated by the lack of colour flexibility in existing terrain tools. I like to be able to 'paint' the underlying landscape for my maps on a single layer, but to do that I needed a comprehensive range of harmonising hues and consistent light and dark shades of those hues and I needed all of the textures involved to work together without fighting for dominance. So I got fed up and made it myself.
Every material set uses the same range of 20 basic hues, plus a greyscale texture and a green/brown 'mossy' option. The packs were designed to work well with Dungeondraft's built-in lighting and shadow tools, so you can paint organic, dynamic landscapes from the terrain later up.
If you don't want or need the whole Megapack, you can also pick up the individual packs for $5 each!
Painterly Plains (grass, dirt and soft foliage)
Painterly Patios (sand and two sets of rough stone paving)
Painterly Peaks (loose pebbles and two styles of rock texture)
Painterly Paving (orderly stones and two sets of ceramic tiles)
...and of course because you all know I live and breathe giving away free shit, I've put together a free sample pack with what I judged to be some of the most straightforwardly useful hues from each material pack.
Have fun! Show me what you make!!!
