Happy July y’all! This month, I’m trying something a little different. Orbital Station 735 is now available up on my shop! It’s perfect for any shadowrun or modern ttrpg game you’re running and available in 3 versions in 2 resolutions. Y’all, seriously, I’m very happy with how this one came out. I love the idea of a space station being the location for a run, because who doesn’t, right?

Bespoke colouring – a take on our Cassini – usually seen with Mint, Glacial or Ochre oceans – here with a nice light variation of Sea Green. Hand drawn and hand painted illustrations have been added – illustrations are by Mark Utterson.

The illustrations here are slightly larger then we normally do – we equally like and encourage this sizing! Some customers choose smaller illustrations so they are more discreet – something to find when looking closely. Others choose to make illustrations larger features on their globe.

Happy 2022 y’all, I hope your holidays were excellent!

As the first map of the year, I present to you the Fenrir Munitions Corporate Offices. Perfect for any of your modern/future TTRPGs and particularly things like Shadowrun or Cyberpunk.

Designed and tested in Shadowrun 5E, the Fenrir offices are a simple set up to provide the maximum flexibility to the GM. The core concept for this map was that I wanted to design an office built in an interesting shape. In this case, the old Norse bind rune for protection. Feel free to work that into the story surrounding the building or just go with it as an interesting architectural fact, whichever better suits your game!

All right, here we go y’all!

This week’s selection is a personal favorite (I promise, they’re not all my favs). Originally built for a scifi/modern setting, this arcology began life as a corporate housing and data processing center. 

Points of interest include that the entire complex is low security in general, seeing as it houses hundreds of employees of various levels of clearance. The pedestrian sky-ways between buildings provide access at or around the fiftieth floor of each building. Anyone who works at this arcology also lives there and shops there, with nothing needed from the outside world.

While this was originally built for a modern setting, a little tweaking of the naming conventions and lay out would make it perfect for a fantasy world as a guild headquarters or group conclave! Or take out some walls and make it ruins!

As always, these maps are entirely system agnostic and mostly setting agnostic. Feel free to use them as you wish, just follow the rules in my pinned post! Expect a lore dump in a few days!

Welcome to Pacifica friends.

This city was originally built for a custom campaign I was running for, unsurprisingly, Shadowrun. It has been designed and built around the idea that money controls life. Down here, it does. The entire city was originally designed to exist deep under the Pacific Ocean (surprise surprise!)

While more will be revealed in the lore dump on Monday, a few sneak peeks so to speak. First, life down in Pacifica is rough at best. Gangs are basically the only security normal people can find down in the lower city. Second, for presumably obvious reasons, no vehicles roam the streets of Pacifica. Unless you’re rich enough to not care about the law. Third, for the people strong and savvy enough, a city hidden beneath the waves (or the earth, or anywhere else in your game) is full of opportunities to make money.

Many believe that Ernest Hemingway based his novel The Old Man and the Sea on Peru’s Cabo Blanco coastline - but, in truth, he got the idea in Cuba. He did spend 45 days in Cabo Blanco in 1956, drinking whiskey and pisco sours, as he and director John Sturges filmed the movie of the same name there The coca plant (Erythroxylum coca) has been used for thousands of years in the Andean world, mainly for its medicinal properties and religious significance. Coca leaves have been used as a stimulant to overcome fatigue, hunger, and thirst and they are particularly effective against altitude sickness The effects of the coca leaf were discovered in Europe during the 19th century, when a promising German grad student, Albert Niemann, was able to isolate the active ingredient of coca, which he named cocaine In 1885, the Coca Cola Company in Georgia began making a wine with coca leaves that was converted into a soft drink known as Coca Cola. By 1903, public outcry over the ill effects of cocaine forced the company to remove the coca leaves from its recipe for the drink, and it became more or less the soft drink millions enjoy today Bullfighting is a popular sport in Peru.
