The shadows on the wall moved.

Bob and Pete ran into a dead end.

"No time to quiver in fear!" Bob grabbed a stick. Although the smallest, his courage towered over his colleagues.

"Run, Pete!"

"No!" Pete took another stick. "I'm not leaving you!"

Bob was almost moved to tears.

The shadow approached—a mighty creature, horrendous monster!

…A stray cat!

They lowered their weapons.

Pete laughed nervously. "Jupe would love to hear this."

"Then we'll never hear the end of it," Bob countered.

"Fine… our little secret?"

"Something tells me," Bob sighed, "that he's going to find out anyway."
