The Ruins of Shaerrawedd, Kaedwen
I’m only ten minutes in on Season 3 of the Witcher and I’m already emotional. Geralt and Ciri being so affectionate, the three of them sharing dinner after god knows how long Geralt ignored Yen, laughing and loving and enjoying each others company, the playing around , ice skating. I love this found family so much

Look, I know it's fantasy and within the fantasy genre you can't logically argue that things are historically inaccurate - and yet I can't help but think that the fashion and make-up look really anachronistic. And not in a cool, unexpected-but-somehow-fitting way, no ... it just looks modern and artificial.
But I see Geralt is still his grunting old self.
The owl lady is not nice but I like her.
The elves are in a really bad state, but their current leaders make it hard to root for them.
Geralt is fooling himself when he writes he needs to learn to trust Yennefer again - he does already, having let her leave for Aretuza with Ciri.
I'm looking forward to see Ciri's father actually do something.
Have this art piece I did for the Gwent art contest - it‘s supposed to be Shaerrawedd and hopefully people like it?
I‘m fairly happy with it, if you follow me you know I don‘t typically paint nature or backgrounds and I did both here, so it was a good attempt I‘d say :).
“ We will take back what was stolen”.
Desperate to take back the land from the humans, Aelirenn went and rallied the elves, no matter how dire the reality was for them. The elders refused, believing the only way to really win was to simply outlive the short-life spans of humans and thus wanted to retreat to the mountains to wait it out.
However, Aelirenn was able to rally the younger elves and led almost all of them into battle where, while they died with honor, it was a complete massacre. As only young elves could still have offspring, the massacre meant the annihilation of the elven race as well.
Aelirenn, the white rose of Shaerrawedd.
