Still don't like that troupe of bards, but their song is catchy and works really well with the narrative.
Stregobor's only security measure is that one little moth?! What if someone breaks into his chambers while he's not only a couple of rooms away but somewhere across the continent? Wouldn't the moth still have to fly to him to alarm him? For who knows how many miles, through all kinds of weather and, well, not exactly speedy? What if someone along the way swats the moth like the fragile insect it is? This is so stupid.
I keep forgetting about Lydia and I don't know why. She's way more memorable than some of the other mages.

I did not expect Cahir to question Emhyr. Or Emhyr to be so chill about it.
Then again, Emhyr has yet to do something. Himself, I mean. He does have Cahir to get things done for him.
That other bard and his troupe are absolutely obnoxious.

So Fringilla recovered quickly. Good for her.
Jaskier and Ciri improvising Geralt and Yen's reconciliation in the woods is one of my favourite moments so far.
I didn't expect Jaskier and Radovid to get together so soon, but I'm not complaining.
All these important characters pairing up to go to the ball with their own game plans is really nice build-up for next episode.
But WHY is Yen wearing what I can only describe as a glittering bikini top?!

Look, I know it's fantasy and within the fantasy genre you can't logically argue that things are historically inaccurate - and yet I can't help but think that the fashion and make-up look really anachronistic. And not in a cool, unexpected-but-somehow-fitting way, no ... it just looks modern and artificial.
But I see Geralt is still his grunting old self.
The owl lady is not nice but I like her.
The elves are in a really bad state, but their current leaders make it hard to root for them.
Geralt is fooling himself when he writes he needs to learn to trust Yennefer again - he does already, having let her leave for Aretuza with Ciri.
I'm looking forward to see Ciri's father actually do something.
