Wednesday? Map Day! Featuring the southeast portion of this “Map of the country scouted by Colonels MacKenzie and Shafter, Capt. R. P. Wilson and others in the years, 1874 & 1875.” The “country” in question was large portions of Texas from the panhandle to Big Bend, as well as portions of New Mexico.

The map was so large that our digitized version of it had to be divided into 4 quadrants.
