Saw this and immediately thought about the Proposal AU again. Because what if Theo is the chill dad who immediately takes a liking to Jean? What if Keith is the careful dad who isn’t certain if Jean will make his beloved son happy?

What if Reiner takes every opportunity he can to call Jean his ‘babygirl’ in front of everyone? What if Jean tries to kick him under the table but ends up kicking Keith instead?

I don’t blame you Anon.  Shagath (Magdis? Shamag?) has sailed, and it truly is the ship of dreams before it blows up.  I mean it’s got everything you could possibly want from a ship; star crossed enemies to lovers, finding love across the divide in the midst of war, providing each other with a heartbreaking moment of absolution and catharsis, before making their final heroic sacrifice and going out together in a blaze of glory to save the lives of their friends.  What more could you ask for?  And best of all?  It’s canon!  Who said there’s no romance in SnK??!

The Proposal AU is something that would be perfect for Reijean, but I want Jean as the mean, familyless boss and Reiner as his assistant with a surprisingly wholesome family.

Imagine Reiner with two loving dads (Keith Shadis and Theo Magath). Shagath also adopted the rest of the Warriors. Yay.
