Modern Reijean AU where they both urgently need to get somewhere. They meet at an airport and keep getting in each other’s way, accidentally annoying the hell out of each other. They finally board one of those small planes that only holds a few people, but mid-flight, the pilot has a heart attack, and they crash into the ocean. Somehow, they’re the only ones who make it onto a deserted island, and now they have to survive together for god knows how long…

Will they fall in love, or kill each other first?

AU where Queen Historia has had enough and asks Jean to be her temporary regent, ruling in her stead while she takes a break.

Cue the worst month of Jean’s not-very-long life, where he has to deal with the Yeagerists, enforce the law, and tolerate one Reiner Braun, who rather jokingly declares himself the Lord Commander and (much to Jean’s dismay) refuses to leave his side.

Will the number of his sarcastic remarks change the course of Reiner’s career and force Jean to either imprison him or turn him into the court’s first jester? Remains to be seen.

As always, when playing AOT2, I find myself wondering… what would Jean do if he went back in time post– or during the Rumbling? He’s not omniscient, but he knows enough to try to save some of his friends, of course. That being said, he’s not the strongest during the S1–S3 events, and he also knows that certain sacrifices need to be made.

How would he deal with RBA? How would he deal with Eren? My first thought is that he would probably try to get RBA imprisoned as soon as possible, yet also try to ensure that they wouldn’t be harmed… And how would I pull Reijean off in this scenario? Hmm, much to think about.

What if he were afraid that the changes he makes would cause the future to become even bleaker?

And now I’m tempted to write about a nerdy beefcake archaeologist, Reiner, who falls for the local baddie, Jean, who only wants to steal the artifacts he finds…

If you see me reading about hieroglyphs in the next couple of weeks, no you didn’t. Reijean for the soul.

Fifteen minutes into Peaky Blinders and I already have a Reijean AU idea: Jean and Reiner as ex–WWI comrades who run into each other after years apart. Now they’re both involved in dirty business and will do everything in their power to outmaneuver each other…

The royal comphet couple, Historia and Reiner, meet the chaotic siblings Ymir and Jean and agree to take them as their respective lovers…
