Okay so I think this might get taken off bc of copyrights, but I wanna try to share this anyway..

There was a Dutch contest for The City Of Lover concert in Paris on September 9. For this contest, you had to lip sync or sing along to a Taylor Swift song. I chose Shake It Off, because of multiple reasons;

- I have been bullied for around 15 years, had an eating disorder because of it and let social media tear me apart. Now I am 23 years old and I can finally shake it off.

- It was my mom's favorite Taylor song. I lost my mom in 2016, when I was (just) 20 years old. My mom was my everything and my best friend. Now she's gone. But Shake It Off brings back the happy memories. It takes me back to us singing in the car together, or to dancing around the living room to it. She LOVED Tay.

I tried to recreate the outfits out of the video, but I am broke af and I can't design clothes myself; so I had to do it with the clothes I had in my closet. This is the result:

So... I didn't win the contest. And that's okay. I had a REALLY fun day, creating these looks and lip syncing/dancing to my favorite artist.

I just wanted to share this, because I never seem able to find the right words to tell what Taylor means to me. She was there. She has been there for me since 2008 and I feel like she and her music will always be there for me.
