You know what was a god-tier concept? SHALLUTOR. I don’t even like love-triangles, but one between Shiro, Allura, and Lotor would have been perfect. I’m actually kind of salty about it, tbh. I might have to make some AUs of my own.

I was going through screencaps—and mind you, I’m not going to read too much into this as I’m still figuring out what I’m looking for/at, exactly, but—when I stumbled across this. By all appearances, the Shallura handtouch seems to be the inverted version of the L0tura handtouch. Both happen on the bridge, both men imploring Allura to listen to them—one for Allura’s own emotional wellbeing, the other in spite of it—with their fingers folded over her knuckles. While Shiro’s palm would be touching hers if her fingers were open, Allura’s palm is already facing away from Lotor—his cause is already lost—and the way his fingers curl over hers is seemingly making her fist harder to uncurl, rather then the opposite. Basically, while this most likely means nothing and I’m not quite sure what I’m trying to say about it, whatever is here is fun and interesting and I thought it was worth pointing out.
