Can u do some shane headcannons
Yes! Not going to lie, I’ve never done like a headcanon ask like this before so I don’t know if there’s a format or specific things you want answered, so I’m just gonna list a bunch. Hehe.
Also, to be completely honest, I've never romanced Shane before so most of what I know about him is from the wiki ¯\_(ツ)_/¯. It be like that sometimes.
It seems like most of the community agrees with me on this one, but Shane is a SHORT KING. In my mind he's only like 5'6" ish, so small.
I don't think Shane can grow facial hair. He seems to have a 5 o'clock shadow, but that's the most it grows
Shane doesn't have a lot of friends in town, especially when you meet him at the beginning of the game, but I think that the people he'd get along best with are Sam and Penny, just because they both also see Jas a lot, and he works with Sam.
Shane can't stand Elliot but can't pin down why. Bad vibes from the dude.
Shane's in his late 20s, maybe 28, 29? when we meet him
He only decides to warm up to the Farmer when the Farmer gets closer with Jas.
He's anti pineapple on pizza, it's far too sweet.
Shane doesn't like anything really sweet for that matter, just spicy food.
He's not close with his parents, at all.
Shane doesn't really know how to ever thank the Farmer for essentially saving his life, both literally and in the long run, and not only sends random gifts through the mail but will sometimes just show-up and offer to clean the chicken coop.
When Shane visits the Farmer he'll sometimes try to duck into the chicken coop to see how the birds are doing, anyways.
Shane thought about going vegetarian after sobering up because he loves chickens so much, but ultimately decided that love applies to hot wings too.
Shane falls in love with the Farmer much more quickly than the Farmer does, and actually talks with his therapist about it to make sure it's not some kind of unhealthy attachment.
Shane decides they're going to marry the Farmer after seeing how sweet they are with Jas
And here's my real crack-headcanon/theory that has no basis whatsoever:
Shane is Jas' dad. A partier even at a young age, he had Jas in high school, and his parents took in the child but immediately sent her to Marnie because Shane was too young.
Part of that guilt is what drove him to drink more, and when his parents got fed up with him they sent him to Marnie too, hoping that being around his child would give him some sense of responsibility.
Shane wants to tell Jas but doesn't know how, especially after Marnie told her that both of her parents died. He knows he'll have to someday, but is so, so afraid to do so.
When the Farmer proposes he tells them then, that he has a child, because he doesn't want to go into the marriage with that secret.
Shane and the Farmer build a room in their house for Jas to come and stay in anytime she wants.
