💜🩵 Selene/Shannon~ 🩵💜

Here is the first of the ship-related Pride art I had planned for this month, and the only other TLR drawing idea I had! ^w^ I'm exploring some what-if ships this time instead of established ones(though they are ships I am contemplating making official), with this one being of Selene and Shannon~! ✨️

The lesbian flag is between them since they're both lesbians, but the asexual flag is on Shannon's side since she is ace as well. I honestly had this as a what-if type ship for a couple of years, but I think it could have a lot of cute potential! :D Both coincidentally have royal besties who are also their ex-partners(Talia and Brooke, who are also besties to each other lol), and with Shannon getting noticed/scouted for some modelling campaigns for "Marcet Fashion", Selene's family's fashion company, I feel the cute potential would only go up from there! Both Selene and Shannon would find each other and each other's style super pretty, and they'd both be low-key anxious messes about their budding romance(since Selene hasn't dated in a while, and Shannon's never had a proper girlfriend before). It would also be low-key exciting for Selene as she could also learn more about the tiny Mareasian heritage that she has, and have more of an excuse to visit Mareas more often if she is to see Shannon. I'm still contemplating when and how to implement this ship idea more, but I still think it's a fun and cute one(plus, it would add another wlw pair to the universe)! :3

A commission done for @littlechaoticwitch, who wanted to see the rest of the fairies from my Winx Club AU~! 🧚‍♀️✨️

My extra notes for their forms are in their original boards, but except for Queen Noelani and Queen Demeter, these are all of their base fairy/Magic Winx forms(some would most likely be at different fairy stages in the actual AU). These combine both inspiration from the original show and my personal take on base fairy forms, which generally includes extra details, jewelry, and more of a variety in shoes. For Noelani and Demeter, I designed theirs with a higher fairy form in mind, combining inspiration from both Enchantix and the Major Fairies from canon. I'm not sure what this exact fairy form would be called or how it would be obtained, but it would have more of a 'regal' vibe to it.

This was a fun challenge to do, both in drawing all the details for their fairy forms and also drawing 7 characters in one drawing, which was a little easier to do than I thought!

🦭 Winx Club AU: Shannon, Fairy of Selkies 🦭

Next up for the fairies, and the only other Mareasian fairy, we have Shannon! :3 She has remained a fairy since the second version of the AU. She is also a selkie herself, but one that transforms between her selkie form underwater and a more human-fairy form on land. My main struggle with hers was finding a top that I liked for her, since none of the ones that were showing up really fit what I had in mind for her(either they weren't cropped, weren't the right color, or didn't fit the style I had in mind for it). Although not exactly what I was thinking, I think the top I finally chose works super well and would look super cute on her. I hope you enjoy!

Some extra notes about her fairy form:

The tie part of her shirt wouldn't be quite as long as it would be slightly past her hips, while the bodice part of her shirt would be more form-fitting. The sleeves of the shirt would also be form-fitting, but still flare out at the wrists. Her shoes would be a darker shade, but still in a more aqua shade.

Her wings would be more of a gray color, and shaped a little bit to resemble a seal's tail. Her hair would be pulled up in a bun with a pearl hair-tie.

Tattoo Refs: Shannon Ayers

The second post of the updated tattoo refs, these are Shannon's tattoos! I always had in mind she would have three tattoos, but didn't have any concrete ideas for them till last month(despite making her a year ago). But, I hope you enjoy these!

The one across her shoulder-blades would be water wings, similar to the ones Lapis Lazuli has in Steven Universe. The one on her thigh would be a realistic seal with water lilies(a reference to her being a selkie), and her matching one with her bestie would be a simple ocean wave! Hers is on her left wrist and incorporates a crescent moon(being colored with darker/nighttime colors), while his would incorporate a sun(symbolizing how she is beautiful like the moon, and he is bright like the sun)~

💧 Prince Brooke Alagona and Lady Shannon Ayers 💧

Prince Brooke Alagona and his best friend, Lady Shannon Ayers, are studying the history of dance together in the royal Mareasian library. Both growing a bit bored from all the reading, their conversation slowly(and slyly on Shannon's part) switches over to the topic of Brooke's preoccupied thoughts; his crush.

Another @thelostrainbowthenovel short story, this one taking place around 6 years prior to the start of the main story. I was honestly a bit unsure about posting this one to my ao3, as the vibe is kind of all-over the place, but ultimately it was something I wanted to write to showcase the bond between Brooke and Shannon. Exploring both the playfulness and comfortability of their friendship, while also focusing more on their respective mental health and struggles with it.

This piece is also another sort of companion to the “Confession” piece, as this one takes place several months before that one, and this one explores more on why Brooke likes Nate(as the other story did the reverse).

🦭 Happy Birthday, Shannon! 🦭

Here is the 2nd of the back-to-back March birthdays, with today being Lady Shannon Ayers' birthday~! 💧💙🎂 Not going to lie, I really missed Shannon, so I had a lot of fun getting to draw her again! I chose to draw her in a different outfit here for fun(which has an Easter egg, if you can find it!), plus show off her tongue piercing with a cheeky wink! 😜

((Also, only sort of relevant but with their birthdays being right next to each other's, I couldn't help but think of possible interactions between her and Damini! 🤔 I just think they could have some fun potential and have a lot to talk about lol))
