I saw some cute shanrad art and I found myself ranting in the tags before deciding that OP didn't need my ranting. But the internet does need my ranting, so...
I really wish we knew more about Conrad than:
Shannon was her first kiss
She's a wizard
She really feels like the creative process behind her was, "Huh. people ship Shannon with Mary, so let's make her kiss a Mary clone and hope people accept this instead of being annoyed that we cut out the Zadrita kiss or chose not to give Shannon a gf who was even 5% more plot-important."
And then, because there was some backlash on the lack of plot importance, they used Conrad's model for the HexTech scene. And don't get me wrong, the kiss between Shannon and Conrad was cute! But everything about Conrad feels like a token lesbian being shoved into random places.
IDK, maybe there was supposed to be more about Conrad in the scrapped arcs of Wizards. But given how Zadrita got cut, I really doubt it.
