Hi everyone, I'm back with witches in angry mode~! Yeah in case you didn't know, I have a headcanon that witches become big, scary, and monstrous when angry, based on some stuff from official media. This time of Shao-Yi, a background witch that isn't as well known as Sarah, but still has a lot of fans. Me included!
So for Shao-Yi, I wanted something to compliment her simple yet wonderful design. So I decided to make it seem mystique yet simple. And what's more simple than a giant shadow monster just waiting to drag you into the darkness? I also wanted to make it look intimidating, so I hope this succeeded!
Also, I like to imagine that Shao-Yi is a very nice and patient person, so you have to actively be trying to piss her off!
Or be Amanda and steal her personal family treasures! Which is why she's so furious by the way! But, that's what happens when you steal someone's personal belongings that have such sentimental value to them. So now, Amanda has two choices. Give Shao-Yi her stuff back, or run away and prey Shao-Yi doesn't grab her or catch up. And as you can see, she chose life!

(OLD) Little Witch Academia: Monster Witches Bio- Dragon Witches
Why hello again, and welcome back to more of my Monster Witches AU! Today we talk about a creature from mythology that literally every person on the planet knows about! Dragons! Mighty reptilian creatures that have captured the imagination and struck fear into humanity for more than a millennia now! Dragons have been a symbol to many people as a sign of fear, bravery, nobility, strength, creativity, inspiration, royalty, divinity, etc! These powerful beasts are usually at the top of anyone's list when it comes to dangerous mythical animals! And Luna Nova, is no different!
The draconic students of Luna Nova are pretty feared by other students, fae folk staff, and even some professors. Almost everyone sees them as large predatory beasts waiting for the right moment to kill them, and destroy anything else that's around! When in reality, that's far from the truth. The dragon students of Luna Nova are actually gentle giants. They are kind and patient with their fellow students, and wouldn't dream of hurting them. Even if they were pissed off, they would just scare them rather than attack them. At least their friends know that though they may be big and scary, the dragons are big softies and would only ever attack to protect. But its the matter of appearances that effects how people see them.
For starters, the dragon girls don't know their own strength, and often cause damage due to them accidentally destroying something. Second, their abilities can be activated on accident. Sarah has been known to spew fire whenever she sneezes, and spews smoke when she coughs. And Shao-Yi has trouble controlling the electricity within her when she's tired or daydreaming. Another reason they are feared is because they can turn into much bigger and more dangerous, true dragon forms. This makes people even more on edge around them, even terrifying all the other professors that weren't already scared of them before! But, they rarely ever feel the need to change to these forms, so there's no need to fear them getting aggressive and decimating everyone kaiju style. Still, it is very disheartening and even a bit depressing to them, since they are seen as dangerous to many people they've known for months now.
Sarah Bernhardt looms over everyone with an impressive height of 60 feet! She looks pretty much like her normal self with some draconic features added. She has about three horns on both the left and right side of her head that stick out from her hair, slit reptilian pupils, pointy ears, sharp fangs, crimson red colored scales on both her cheeks, scales on her arms that start at her hands and end a little bit past her elbows, large wings on her back that give her a wing span of up to 390 feet when fully extended (they look smaller when folded), a long and strong tail that measures to 67 feet in length, a single row of small spikes going down her tail, four fins at the end of her tail that she can make rise and fall at will, claws, a forked tongue, and circular draconic markings on the front parts of her wings. These markings appear to be similar to the draconic symbols meaning fire. Sarah's durability isn't clear, but thanks to testing via Croix, it is proven she is able to withstand conventional human firepower, explosives, most piercing weapons, and a few powerful magic based attacks. How Croix found this out with testing is never elaborated on her part. Neither is how she figured out that Sarah has fast and precise regenerating abilities. What is known is that Sarah went to Croix for testing, and then came back with no recollection of what happened. She is incredibly strong thanks to her new size and powers, able to lift something 3x her size with little to no effort. This was proven when she stopped a crumbling pillar from crushing several fellow students. Her tail is really strong, one accidental swing can damage many of Luna Nova's walls. She is able to fly at around 210 mph. That's a lot faster than Kimberly or Lotte, but a lot slower than Rita or Amanda. Finally, she is able to breathe fire that comes at around 1,000 Celsius, or 1,832 Fahrenheit. It is a bright ruby red and seems almost viscous in the center. When she breathes fire, her eyes glow the same red as her fire. She can also light her hair and wings on fire, as well as the fins on her tail.
In her true dragon form, she obviously loses all her human features and looks like a giant dragon of European descent. She is said to look rather nobel in this form, strangely enough, others have said she looks almost like a combination of pure badassery and princesses in a way. No one really knows why, she just does to them. Though some of the plant based monster students have compared her to a fiery rose at times. Her scales now cover her entire body and have a crimson red color to them like before, but the scales on her underside are a vibrant reddish peach color that go from her chin to the end of her tail. Her horns are bigger and sharper, as well as her having spikes on her cheeks, back, and one big horn-like spike on her nose. However, her facial spikes are not really well noticed though. They only really are ever noticable when she flares them up, otherwise they lay flattened and almost invisible. When she's angry, they darken to a more charred red color to add to intimidation. She has more flexible spikes like this on her body that also go unnoticed until she flares them up, these spikes also change color based on emotions. She has more fins at the base of the tail, her elbows, knees, and more bony and spiky ones for her ears. Strangely enough, she still has her long hair on her head in this form, as well as the shape of her eyes still being the same. The sheer size of this form also makes it clear why people fear her even more in this form. Sarah's true dragon form is over 300 feet tall, over 600 feet long, and has a wingspan of over 2,750 feet (once again, the wings also look smaller when folded)! But, not only has she increased greatly in size, but also in durability and power! Her durability has pretty much multiplied tenfold! Cannons have no such effect on her, heavy missles and other large explosives would only stun her or even render her unconscious at best, and there are only few powerful spells that can greatly damage her. Sarah fire powers are also greatly increased as well. Her fire is now 2,500 Celsius or 4,532 Fahrenheit. Its extremely whitish peach in color and has a consistency that makes it look molten in the center. When she breathes fire, her eyes glow brightly just like before, now the same color as this type of fire. She is not only able to set her hair and wings on fire, but also her entire body. Which can be extremely devastating, so this is never used. It has only been seen and used once, and Sarah has vowed to never do that again. It almost happened a second time, but that was prevented after many students calmed her down.
Sarah seems the most use to this new body of her's. She was already 6 feet, so what is being 10 times that size gonna change? But in all seriousness, her height doesn't bother her at all, before or after the change. She takes it all in stride and doesn't even seem to mind height jokes or insults made about her. In fact, she's more likely to tell you to work on your material if its bad, or laugh along with you if its good. She's usually sweet, kind, and very patient with her fellow students. But for those times where her patients is pushed too far or if she wants to give a warning to someone whose harassing her friends, she will stand before said someone, glare down at them, growl a deep growl, and maybe even light up her mouth with a bit of fire if she wants to make the point extra clear for them to fuck the hell right off! She keeps her well mannered composure with the professors though, even if she would love to set some ablaze. When she's really angry, she will either curse softly while embers spark from her mouth or will curse loudly while large bursts of fire spew out, though the latter is (somewhat) rare. Mostly because that scares everyone even more. And she doesn't want to scare her little friends, does she~?
Shao-Yi might not be the biggest of the dragon girls but she's certainly not small at all in any way, shape, or form. She's 50 feet tall and has a 158 foot long tail. The tail is incredibly powerful and can coil around stuff and constrict things if she so chooses. It's so powerful that she can essentially slither on it without having her feet touch the ground. Shao-Yi has a pair of antler-like horns on her head, a tiara-like spike on the top of her head, claws, scales on her arms that start at her hands and end a little bit past her elbows, sharp fangs, slit reptilian pupils, pointy ears, silver colored scales on both her cheek, a forked tongue, small dull spikes along her tail, fur the same color as her hair on the back of her tail, a large floof of fur at the end of her tail like a lion's tail, and really long antennae on her head. Much like Sarah, her durability and strength are immense. Being able to take on explosives, human firepower, most piercing weapons, and some powerful magical spells. Her regeneration is also impressive too. And much like before, it was Croix who conducted these tests, and much like before she's very secretive of what she did, and Shao-Yi has no memory of it. Much like Sarah, Shao-Yi can pick up things 3x her size with relative ease. The most notable difference between Shao-Yi and the other dragon girls of Luna Nova Academy is that she has no wings to speak of. And yet, she's completely capable of full on flight. Whether this is because of the wind, magic, gliding, all of the above, or even some other method lift off is currently unknown. Her flight speed clocks is at 153 mph, making her the slowest of the dragons when it comes to flight. Though, she is described as graceful and looking almost as if she's swimming in the wind. Unlike Sarah, she can't breathe fire. But, she has power over water, electricity, wind, and the weather as a whole. She can shoot white flashes of lightning from her mouth and eyes, conduct electricity via her hair and fur, make focused electrical pulses with her hands and feet, manipulate water and lift it into the air, create strong wind currents, zap people with her antennae, and cause the weather around Luna Nova to rain/snow/be cloudy/stormy/or have clear blue skies if she wanted.
Her true dragon form is said to be both threatening looking, yet also looking Divine and even Goddess-like in nature. In this form, she looks like that of a giant dragon of Asian descent. She is about just over 100 feet tall and 900 feet long in this form. Obviously, her body is extremely serpentine and long, giving her the nickname "Noodle Dragon" or simply "Noodle", which is what people jokingly call her behind her back. Anyways, her entire body is covered in silver colored scales, with the exception being the scales on her underside. These scales are pale blue in color, and go from her chin to the end of her tail. Her silver scales do have traces of actual silver in them, making them high conductors of electricity when she uses electricity and lightning. Like Sarah, she keeps her eye shape and hair in this form for some reason. She has much more fur in this form as well. With it covering her entire neck, giving her a lion-like mane, then covering her back and going all the way down to her tail, which has an even bigger lion-like floof at the end. There's also fur on her knees, elbows, heels, and even along her underbelly. This fur is as soft as silk, yet it is also way higher of a conductor for electricity than normal fur, so its best to be careful when hugging it. She also has really long whiskers in this form, that she can also use to electrocute someone, much like her antennae. These whiskers are bunched together and look like a really long mustache. The whiskers can also move around, making it look like they're floating in mid-air. She also has a beard in this form. Shao-Yi only has a beard and mustache in her true dragon form, meaning it appears to be unisex for Asian Dragons. Her beard is floofy and just long enough for her to stroke it when she's thinking. Though if she were male, the beard and mustache would be even longer. There are also pointy frills at her sides that she can make rise and fall at will. These frills also appear to have strange markings on the underside that look similar to strange lighting mixed with weird looking clouds, some have even pointed out that this is the draconic symbol for storms and weather. These frills only seem to rise when she's angered though. Her antlers and tiara spike become bigger and have more shape to them, there are dull spikes going from a top her neck all the way to the end of her tail that are almost hidden under her fur, pointer ears that also have fur at the end of them, and comparatively short yet muscular limbs. While Shao-Yi can walk and run fine on her legs, she's much faster and more coordinated when she slithers, only using her limbs occasionally when she does this. She is able to coil and constrict objects and other creatures easily using her entire body in this form as well. Her power and durability have increased too as well! Cannons have no effect, missiles and explosives can only stun her or knock her out at best, and there are only few powerful spells that can do serious damage. Also, now she is able to create large storms like hurricanes/typhoons, tornadoes/cyclones, raging thunderstorms, and various other types of dangerous storms. Though since she doesn't want to hurt anyone, she doesn't do this as to prevent serious harm.
Shao-Yi has usually been known to handle most changes rather well. But the changes that have been happening to her and Luna Nova suddenly, haven't really been easy on her. For starters, growing up to 50 feet tall isn't easy on her. Having to deal with having to watch her step, having to crouch down to get into certain places at times, and even having to watch her strength, since one accident flick of her fingers can blast a wall right open. Not to mention getting used to her new tail. Its really a hassle to keep track of it. Whenever she's in the halls, she has to make sure not to swing it around too much, less she wants to heavily damage anyone or anything around her. Also, its pretty heavy, so most of the time she's dragging it on the floor. There's also the fact that she's now a high conductor of electricity, especially in her tail. So, she's learning really hard on how to keep the electrical energy within her contained. Shao-Yi's actually been studying much more often now thanks to her transformation. She's focusing these studies on dragons and draconic powers based on the species she's become. She was actually the first to transform into her true dragon form, showing her fellow dragons the power they all held. Nowadays, she has become more skilled with her powers and has learned to get around her size too, but its still not easy for her. Her roommates and friends have been there for her though. They helped her through these hardships and reminded her she was more than just a creature of destruction and fear. In fact, Akko and Katie have reminded Shao-Yi that Asian Dragons are usually seen as a sign of divinity, wisdom, and wealth. This has made her feel a bit better, and she even jokes that she probably turned into a dragon because of her love of jews, crystals, diamonds, silver, gold, etc. Though if anything, Shao-Yi's love of these materials has only increased. Now keeping a huge hoard of them in a secret cavern that she plans to magically transport back to her home in the coastal seaside of China. She is extremely secretive of this hoard and has only shared the information of their whereabouts to the other dragons of Luna Nova Academy, who they themselves have hoards of their own. Shao-Yi is still exceptional at keeping her composure, however, this form of her's is still a hard struggle to get used. Especially when her dragon parts start to shed!
Bice, while still being big, is one of the smallest of the draconic witches. She is just about 40 feet tall with a 42 foot long tail, and she has a 246 foot wingspan (like with Sarah's wings, they look smaller when not fully extended). Since she's become a Wyvern, her forelimbs have become her wings, rather than having a pair of wings grow from her back, like Sarah's wings did. This make things rather difficult for her, since she only has one finger on each limb now, with the other former four being used to make up the wings. Her wings themselves look rather similar to butterfly wings in color. Specifically those of the Monarch and Morpho species, with the coloration and wing patterns being a mixture of both species. The spots she has on her wings have strange draconic symbols on them, possibly symbols that stand for poisons, venoms, and toxins. Her lone finger is more like a claw now, she has sharp fangs, green scales on her cheeks, the arm parts/back of her wings are covered in similar scales as well (and unlike with the former two, these scales cover her whole arms), slit reptilian pupils, a forked tongue, pointy ears, spikes going down her tail, and about four spikes on her head. The top horns are large and curve up near the end, and the lower ones are smaller and keep facing down. Her tail has green scales covering it, with overlapping pale yellow scales on the underside of her tail. At the end of her tail, there is a big boney club that is rather dense, compared to boulders in density even. The club itself is covered in quill-like spines that she can make rise and fall at will. These spines can also be easily detached and shot at any target she wishes by simply flinging her tail in their direction. These spines have small amounts of poison in them, so she tries not to move her tail too much when others are around. Though, the poison in them only seems like its meant to stun, since it's mostly made up of an unknown neurotoxin that will only stun a creature, even if injected with a large amount of the stuff. She is thankful for this, since this means an accidental fling won't result in mass casualties. But, having a big sharp spine jabbed into your body doesn't seem like that would help much. However, this is nothing compared to the knife-like stinger she has at the very end of the club on her tail. This stinger is full of powerful and deadly venom that can kill a creature twice, maybe even three times her size! Much like the other dragons, Bice has incredible durability, regeneration, and sheer physical strength. Able to lift something 3x her size, shrugging off human firepower and most spells, and able to recover quickly from injuries. Bice is unable to breathe fire, but she can expel a powerful bright green gas from her mouth that is very toxic. If you spend too long in it, you could possibly suffocate, or even worse. This gas is also extremely flammable, one single spark or even so much as an ember could light the gas up into an explosive green fire.
Bice's true dragon form is said to look like a giant deadly Wyvern that almost everyone in Luna Nova Academy fears just looking at. She is about 140 feet tall and 333 feet long, with 999 foot wingspan (again, they look smaller when not fully extended). She now has spikes going from her head to her tail, with a few more spikes on certain parts of her body. Like her knees, heels, the sides of her tail, etc. Her scales in some places also look more armored plated and dense than the other dragon's scales do, making it clear of how Wyvern's are evolved for battling bigger dragons and have many ways to defend themselves. She pretty much looks like a giant Wyvern in this form. She keeps her eye shape and hair in this form like the other dragon girls (yes, even the hair bun is still there), and is covered in green scales all over her body, the only exception being her underside. With the scales there being pale yellow, and going from her chin to her tail. Her ears now look more like fins and the butterfly markings on her wings are more vibrant. She has more control over her spines in this form and when shakes her tail in a specific way, she can make a sound similar to that of a giant dragon sized rattlesnake. Her strength, durability, and regeneration have increased as well obviously. Military grade weaponry is next to useless against her, and only very powerful spells and attacks can damage her. Her smaller size compared to the other dragons seems like it would make her durability significantly less great, but her thick armor helps her stay safe. It doesn't help her with flying however. Because of the heavy armor and clubbed tail, she has a hard time flying and is even rather clumsy at it. Her spines are now able to be more accurately struck at a target, with only slight fear of any stray spine spread. Obviously the venom in her stinger is much more powerful, but it is unclear to what degree. Croix theorizes that it could be enough to stun a Roc, or maybe even put it in critical condition, but no one is willing to go look for one and find out. However, its unlikely to do lasting damage since Roc's are one of the very few predators of dragons and have a very high tolerance to their abilities/attacks, for wyvern's that means their various toxins. However, there are even very fewer dragons that reach the sizes the girls do, so there's really no telling what would happen. Also, despite her armor being rather dense, she's surprisingly pretty thin looking for a creature of her size. Her legs in this form even look rather long and lanky. This however works in her benefit, since this makes her so much faster than the other dragons when it comes to using her legs. She's even said to be better at maneuvering on land than in the air.
Bice is a Wyvern, one of the most feared species of dragon on the planet! Despite that, she's actually a really big sweetheart. Which is why it hurts her to know that everyone steers clear of her out of fear that she is a dangerous menace. Its not like she's even aggressive or has shown hostile animalistic behavior, its because she's a Wyvern now and many people and even other dragons have an intense fear of Wyvern's. And for good reason, since Wyvern's are seen as the most deadly and dangerous species of dragon. So she'll often hide herself away from others as to not scare them. Sarah and Shao-Yi noticed this and even realized that they were starting to do this themselves. So they've now started comforting her and even acted as emotional support for when Bice is feeling particularly down in the dumps and might feel like shedding a tear or two. Another thing that gets to Bice is that she has no hands to speak of anymore. There are spells that can give her aid or temporary fingers, but none are permanent. However, her roommates and the other dragons are more than willing to help her out with that and even go out of their way to do extra work for her. And for that, Bice really does feel truly loved in those moments, despite her usually negative circumstances. Then there's the whole poison and venom thing. Since Bice is so sweet and kind, she is horrified to know she has such a deadly ability, so she often gets milked of her venom by Croix, who has actually turned it into an antivenom for just in case she accidentally stings anyone. Since Bice's venom is slow acting, there is plenty of time to inject the antivenom into someone before its too late. Akko often feels guilty about putting Bice in this situation, but Bice tries her best to not hold it against her, and show Akko there is no bad blood, as do the other dragons.
Wow!! This one was a big one!! Hence why it also took so long. Yeah, sorry about that. I wanted to do a really big post for the next entry of this AU, and I wanted to do dragons next since I love dragons~! So, that's why we have this huge ass post right here. If you're also wondering why I made the dragon girls so big, well there's a simple answer to that. I fucking love kaiju~! And when I do more with this AU, I can guarantee you that there will a chapter about the dragons fighting a huge ass Roc! Another thing I wanted to point out is, not all the monster witches will stay the same size as they used to be before the change. In fact, there are some students that are smaller than they used to be. But yeah, hope this one isn't too much of a cluster fuck, and that you have a good idea of the dragons of Luna Nova Academy~!
Next will be demon witches, which will hopefully be shorter and won't take as long. Since the only demons at the moment are Hannah and Rita. Still, I'll be doing my best as to make them descriptive and give them cool powers. Also, I might start drawing these girls at some point, so look out for that.
Okay, this isn't an AU idea or headcanon or whatever, this is just a stupid yet funny idea I wanted to post because I'm feeling particularly shitty today. Basically this idea is the witches turning into dinosaurs. This happens after the professors find out about dinosaurs or at least learn some up to date stuff about dinosaurs, and they get the students to turn into dinosaurs for a class test or assignment or whatever. And the students turn into dinosaurs or prehistoric creatures during that time period using Metamorphosis Magic, and the ones that they turn into are ones that unknowingly represent them the best.
