Today I learned the true meaning of humility. The 'Elders Institute of Wisdom' has worked diligently through the years to reinforce community & establish pathways to better tomorrows. Many historical great men and women have entered this space to address the council of the elders. After which, their photographs were taken and posted on the magnificent wall of honor. It's lined with all manner of historical treasure captured in the smiling faces & determined eyes of my people. The energy is emotionally overwhelming, to say the least. Honored to know that our gifts shared freely were appreciated so much so, that our picture will now hang amongst the greats on the walls of the S.H.A.P.E. Community Center in Houston, TX.
