Days upon days she watched from the little window in the tower. What would it be like to be out there? With other people? Carefree, without a sense of duty and responsibility thrusted upon you with no real reason why. The stories weaved in books always told her of the wondrous world around her. 

And she couldn’t have any of that.

... At least, she thought she couldn’t have any of that. Things like a home, friends, a family... Love? They were all so distant to her back then. All of these things she thought she’d never find.

With a small smile, she nodded. “I did. But... Right now, I have all I ever really wanted. I have all of my friends to thank for that.”

“𝒯his question is always so thought-numbing.” Sofia typically did not care to expend her energy or time on hypotheticals or fallacies such as being granted three wishes - as if there was a genie - but it remained to be a prompt that never failed to get her thinking. At the core of this dilemma that arises with this question, it is a matter of narrowing down what she wants and what she needs in order to make her life and the lives of those around her better. She had always adored them growing up; nonetheless, she remained particular about what she would light up at home - it has the potential to make or break the atmosphere. “During the spring, I enjoy fruity scents such as black cherry or apple; then, I loathe the cozy and warm sensation of cinnamon and vanilla during the summer. When it starts to become colder in the autumn, I like to change to floral scents such as roses and lavender - the latter of the two reminding me of my father… Lastly, in the winter, it may appear cliché - but scents to do with the beach or outdoors are close to imperfection.”
