Living with ADHD and ADD

So I have ADHD&ADD. I can't exactly remember when I was diagnosed but I was around 6 to 9. And I want to tell you what happened and how I've lived with it. So before I was diagnosed I remember not being able to be still, to be composed, I was always all over the place and I would act out. No matter how hard I tried to concentrate my mind would always wander off. Teachers didn't like me that much and I was often put in a separate desk away from the class. It was a struggle. Then I was diagnosed with both ADD and ADHD. They put me on many different medications, which was both a blessing and a curse. Some would make me faint, some would make me extremely sleepy, and I remember one would make me very temperamental and I would have violent mood swings. Yep teachers didn't like that either. After I finally found a medication that worked (but still had minor but livable side effects) I was good. I didn't have an appetite because of my medicine. Whenever I'm off my medicine on almost everything it takes so much effort just to stay on task, I don't even catch myself wandering off most of the time. But ADHD/ADD is both a blessing and a curse. I see things in a different way, I am creative and free. So to everyone who is the same please reblog your story, I'd love to hear it.
