Shark Fact

Epaulette sharks, a small type of reef shark, can "walk" on land during low tides. They do this by their pectoral and pelvic fins evolving to be more like feet so that they can crawl outside of the water from pool to pool during low tide.

They are able to lower their hearts and the rate at which they need to breath to be able to go outside of the water.

Walking on land allows for better hunting as well as to move to more oxygenated pools of water.

apparently a horses head was found in a tiger sharks stomach? and in some other sharks a ton Tom drum was found and a bulldog on a leash was found too??

Did you know, that sharks don’t have bones? Instead they have a soft material called cartilage, which is a tough, stretchy tissue, that humans also have in their ears and tips of their noses. It is theorised that this is because it better suits their environment and lifestyle; it would be easier to move around in the water and therefore they will also be a lot faster than regular, bony fish.

This is true for every shark, from the great white to the whale shark etc.

Shark Jaune au Short Number 1:BABIES!

Weiss would be in the bedroom with jaune lying beside her and the two would be watching some programs on tv until they stopped and a channel that was showing a documentary about sharks.

Jaune: Oh let's see I love this type of documentary!

She would look at jaune's face and notice an expression of animation and blush with the boy's expression and would hug his arm and watch the documentary.

Narrator: Great white sharks gestate their pups for a year before giving birth – that's longer than humans. Between 2 to 12 babies are born at a time. Great whites can live up to 60 years, maybe more.

The two listen to this and jaune blushes and looks at weiss he would be red in the face because he imagined a future where she and jaune were married and had 3 sons and 3 daughters each with their own characteristics and jaune pokes weiss on her shoulder a waking up from her dream.

Jaune: Weiss are you okay? You seem a little distracted..

Weiss: Ah it's okay jaune don't worry silly let's go back to watching the documentary.

He would smile and go back to watch and weiss would hug jaune's arm but she would be blushing and smiling a lot while watching the documentary.

Weiss(Mind):We are going to have such beautiful and cutes babies!

I’m autistic and my current hyperfix is sharks so Lemmie talk about them for a sec! :))

My favourite shark is the bonnet head or shovel head shark! They’re omnivores and are a hammerhead meaning they have 360 vision!

They are characterised by their shovel like head (obviously) and grow to about 2-3ft with a max of about 5ft :0!

They live for 12 years and typically swim in schools of 5-15 but there has been sightings of hundreds, even thousands at one time :))
