Yeah, that applies to a lot of disorders. I get pissed off bc low-functioning people like me have our own needs/challenges and don’t need to be ERASED. idk if it’s the same in the autism community but it wears me out on Tumblr all the time

ok so I scrolled further down and saw that post and LOL TUMBLR. I’m not autistic but I’m def on the LOW functioning end of my disorders. No matter how much low-functioning kumbayaya erasure I see, nothing has ever been worse than that sundae bar shit

yeah like. i get what they're TRYING to say. but there definitely is a difference between people that are high functioning vs. low functioning. autism is a spectrum disorder for a reason
