Finding sharks teeth on the beach

The Duke & Duchess of Cambridge, along with their children Prince George, Prince Charlotte, and Prince Louis, met Sir David Attenborough in the gardens of Kensington Palace after the Duke attended an outdoor screening of Sir David’s upcoming feature film ‘David Attenborough: A Life On Our Planet’.

When they met, Sir David gave Prince George a tooth from a giant shark. The Duchess said herself they and the children are big fans of Sir David!

We celebrated three Shire birthdays yesterday by taking a road trip to the Aurora Fossil Museum. Fourteen of us went and we ended up buying tie-dye t-shirts in all different colors from the museum so we looked like an insane family reunion. It was amazing.

They have dredged sand pits where you get to dig and sift through for free. You keep whatever you find. The sand load was fresh that mornong, too, and so everyone found a bunch of stuff. I found crap ton of shark teeth.

I'm going to take the larger ones and turn them into Sharks Tooth Awards for the Kingdom to give away. I dunno what I'm gonna do with the rest.

The big chunk not completely in the picture is a broken piece of a megalodon tooth. It's pretty freaking cool.

I know I say it a lot, but I love my Shire.

I'm absolutely exhausted but I got to go shark tooth hunting today!!!! I wish I'd gotta pic of the river and woods because it was so so pretty but I was afraid of dropping my phone in the water lol
