What bs Oo. Just as bs as the movie. As if terraforming and cultures with very small private space but *huge* public space weren't a thing. It's not density that's the problem but being *stuck* together in enclosed space with too little divides. (Same reason as to why open workspaces and homes are psychologically a disaster. An animal example can be easily observed on free-range chicken and closed vs open door during rly bad weather, when they're inside anyway.
which I guess is sort of the point, that population density in a situation where nobody can get away from each other is the problem, and I certainly agree that’s a problem, but like...it’s still basically irrelevant in the specific context of “no, really, Thanos had a point and killing people was the only way to fix it”? because. again. artifact that can reshape reality. in the real world obviously it would be more time-consuming and complicated to deal with the problem, but it’s still something that the rich and powerful of the world could fix if they actually cared enough to do so. and with the Infinity Gauntlet? is “figure out the perfect way to redistribute resources and space so that everyone has enough of both” really an impossible order for an object that can do anything? I DON’T FUCKING THINK SO.

...... wow. So did you figure out why they randomly messaged you??
SURE DIDN’T! I mean, for obvious reasons I didn’t want to spend too much additional time on their blog, but I did enough scrolling to a) be disgusted and b) confirm that we at least don’t have any obvious connections. I didn’t actually write back at the time because I wanted to post this, too, and then it took much longer than I meant it to, so it’s not like I’ve heard from them since then or anything.
