“I would do so more often, but you humans just don’t listen.” The serpentine body dropped from the rafters, head rising up and looking down at the girl before it. “You’re home?” A quick look at the surrounding area. “Is this not my home just as much as it is yours? If anything, you’re trespassing here and I’m merely defending my territory. I was created here, you are simply a now unwelcome guest.”
Noticing her stance, it retreated back up to the rafters, jaw opening. “Is that really what you wish to do, knowing you have no way of physically defeating me?”
