Well, I’m all abuzz with progress so let me introduce you to the first 2 of my Bee2 B2 Super Battle Droids.
These guys have more than a sting in their wrist mounted lasers. Looking sharp, it’s good to see the CIS is following proper health and safety with these guys.
Although I have gone slightly loopy with painting chevrons, only two more of these to go.
Count Dooku is ready to fight (and die) for the Separatist cause. Actually, his episodes in the Tales of the Jedi series gave me insight into the character I hadn’t had before.
IG-11 is a bounty hunter droid who was sent after the Grogu. Eventually, he is reprogrammed and becomes an ally of the Mandalorian.
Though basically a lot steel, it still took the time given the details enough variation to be visually interesting.
Dr. Strange, Sorcerer Supreme. I honestly should have painted him in subassembly. However, I was afraid he wouldn’t have come together without some gap filling.
Getting back to some Shatterpoint as I am starting to play more locally. Started with two MagnaGuard.
A few things of interest. The cloaks have the same warm white palette as Supergiant (which I just painted). I am working on True Metallic Metals (TMM) with these models. Also, the OSL came out pretty cool, especially the light on the chest plate.
Greef Karga serves as the fixer for the Certified Guild. The challenge with painting him was making all of the browns distinct.
Something, you just need to paint up bits of terrain while your want for putty to cure. Here’s a little bit of Shatterpoint and a little bit of MCP.
