when he returned to ravenwood, to a house he had no real memories of, beau felt a vague set of foreboding come up to meet him. here it was: his family back.
there was something about sage, beau noted, that was just slightly offputting. the airy look he had about him. like he was always listening for a distant sound. like he didn't fully register everything people said to him. had that always been there?
Sage: beau, it's so good to have you back. your room is all ready, you wanna see it?
Beau: yeah, sure...let's go and see it...
and if he was being honest, he had even less memories about shaw. but he looked like him; he saw the same features on him. and he supposed that was his family. the rest of them were gone. and he just had to wedge himself on in there.
Shaw: there he is. how was the flight? not too bad?
Beau: no, not too bad. um, this house is really nice. i like my room.
Shaw: yeah? that's good. i suppose you don't remember anything about life here, and honestly. seems to be a running theme around here.
Shaw: ...never mind. i'll explain later. why don't you unpack and unwind and come grab food later, eh?
