The Rogue’s Scribe: Inspiration From Everywhere!
Gah, whoops. I actually did have my blog post written and published on my normal Tuesday update day, but completely forgot to then promote it here.
Anyway, as the blog post title implies, I’ve been surprisingly inspired lately by a bunch of exterior sources.
I talk about my story Ladybug’s Simp Squad inspired by this fanart by @carpisuns and added commentary by @miraculousmolls
I go over the story stats for both the 24hr mark and week-long mark, along with gush over the lovely comments people have left me. 💕
I talk about a handful of plot bunnies that have sprung up from those lovely comments on my story: one about Adrien talking to Plagg about not mentioning yeeting himself off the Montparnasse Tower in Gorizilla (whoops, let’s cover up that plot hole), one where Marinette makes Nino a “#1 Rena Rouge Simp” shirt, and one with Ladrien fluffy cuddles.
I talk about an alternative for the Ladrien plot bunny, this time inspired by the story Comfort from Each-Other by ScarletRedfox ( @lady-charinette ) where the whole thing takes a strong angsty turn.
A month-long battle with my internet provider, plus nearly yeeting myself down a flight of stairs, inspired me for a potential akuma attack for one of my future fanfics.
The character designs for Alice Nakiri and Eishi Tsukasa from Food Wars! reminded me enough of my X-Men OCs Willow and Shawn Driver that I’m thinking a bit about X-Future/Glitches again.
