Shay nodded. “Good. That.. good. We need to go soon.” She muttered, going through her cases again. “I think i have everything.” She said, smiling at Malekai. “We will have alot of nice pictures. Im sure.” She said, sitting next to him and blushing. “Im glad im going with you too.” She whispered, smiling. “Come on. We need to go. I have the maps in my bag.” She said, getting up and taking her cases. Each of them had two cases, and one small bag. She took her things and went to the door, looking at their apartment with a small smile. “Im going to miss this place. But we will be back in a month or two. Right?” She said, joking slightly.

   “Right. We will come back. Of course that does not mean we won’t find a place we might want to move to later on.” Returning the smile, he shut and locked the door behind them. 

    Once the two had all of their bags and coolers in the back, they began their road trip across the country. It had taken months of preparations. Hotel reservations, tickets, and everything else one could think of. 

   “Let us get a bit of a system set in place for the longer driving days. First off I think that the passenger should be the navigator, especially in cities and on freeways.”

   “Isn’t this exciting!? I do not believe I have ever been on one of these before. So I probably did more research than I needed to. Better safe than sorry, right?” Rubbing the back of his head nervously, the male looked down at his map. He had everything planned out. Yet he knew that when it came to any sort of trip, you have to expect the unexpected. So he left the schedule quite open to allow for any delays they may encounter along the way. 

    “I will admit I am kind of nervous... But I know we’ll have a lot of fun!”

Shay was there from a very early hour. He was working on getting his things ready for the big day- the start of the school year. He was excited and nervous. It was the school he learned in, and he loved the teachers around. They will treat him great.

When he noticed it was a few minutes before class, he got up from his table and picked all the papers into his bag, looking up as he felt someone next to him, he smiled softly, picking up the rest of the papers. “Hello. You must be the other new teacher here.” He laughed, shacking his head. “I’ve been told a few more teachers will join us through the year.:

   “Is that so? That’ll be nice not to be the only fresh faces around here. God I hope the students aren’t as rambunctious as they say... But it is high school so that shouldn’t really be a surprise.” 

   Smiling nervously, he stretched out his hand so the other could shake it. “I should introduce myself formally... My name is Malekai Grimm, and I am the newest English teacher here. Hopefully we can get along well. And survive this school year.”

   The first day of a new school year was never easy for anyone, no matter how hard they denied it. Yet no one tends to realize that teachers could suffer from the same type of nerves. Double that, and one would know how it felt to be a new teacher in a school where that was not the norm. Many of the teachers there had been at the school for years. Some were even close to retirement.

    Before his first class he decided to stop by the teachers lounge. It never hurt to introduce ones self before the rather tedious workday begun. 

    Of course it would be just his luck that there was only one other teacher in the lounge. However, he let out a sigh of relief when he noticed that the male was around his age. Thank god. Maybe he’s new here too...

    Walking up to the other, he cleared his throat to catch the attention of the male.
