HANNA-BARBERA SUPER TV HEROES ANNUAL (1975). Western Publishing (Gold Key).
I don't know much about this book except for the year it was published, as I can't even find it listed in The Overstreet Comic Book Price Guide. By 1975, the TV series featuring these heroes were only seen sporadically in syndication.
Western Publishing/Gold Key Comics published a comic book series with the same title back in 1968. That was at the time most of these TV heroes were being broadcast, many of them premiering in September, 1967.
Strangely, Frankenstein Jr. and The Impossibles, another superhero show which was also broadcast at the same time, was not included in the comic book. I don't know if that's because the show wasn't considered popular enough, or Western/Gold Key didn't want to spend additional licensing fees.
Other than adapting one Shazzan TV episode, all the other stories in the comics were originals. The comic was cancelled in 1969 after only seven issues.
I'm gonna go with the assumption that this annual, and the second one published in 1976 (also not listed in Overstreet), consists of just reprints of the original comic book stories. I'll probably never know until I'm able to get my hands on a copy someday.
Hanna Barbera Headcanons: It's The Wolf! Cast
All I'll say is that you can pry this found family of three out of my cold dead hands.
Mildew Wolf
-Mildew doesn't really like his name (being that Mildew is a type of fungus on plants). That being said, he doesn't like the nicknames Mildew generates either. He'll only accept nicknames from Bristlehound, Lambsy, Loopy, and occasionally Shazzan.
-Mildew is one of THE wittiest characters of Hanna Barbera (and that’s saying something). He can come up with insults and witticisms on the fly and deliver them in a way that has someone both reeling and…strangely charmed. Mildew himself is quite proud of this ability. It’s why he was chosen to be an announcer for Laff-A-Lympics.
-Mildew is GREAT at telling jokes...when unprompted. The minute he tries to prepare jokes for an audience beforehand, he stumbles and fails.
-Mildew Wolf genuinely LOVES disguising himself. He knows these disguises fail more often than not but still has fun. He often plays dressup with Lambsy as a way to bond with him.
-The reason Mildew was cast as someone who worked several odd jobs in Jellystone was because Mildew himself wanted to be portrayed as someone who did more than "a typical predator job." Surprisingly, he gained a lot of experience from "pretend working" these jobs!
-Mildew is well aware his fashion sense is considered to be "outdated" or "mismatched" to some. He's unaware or just doesn't care...either way, he loves his look and will fiercely defend it.
-Mildew has a love for pumpkins. He's surprisingly good when it comes to making Jack-O-Lanterns for Halloween...however, he sucks when it comes to trying to carve anything else. He often competes with Cuckoo Canary over who has the better carving.
-Mildew Wolf is currently dating Bristlehound (who he affectionately nicknames Bristlie). They have since formed a close-knit family dynamic with Lambsy.
-Mildew DID briefly go on a few dates with Shazzan after he flirted with him in the episode ‘Grocery Store’ of Jellystone!…only for it to end as the two discovered that they didn’t click well together. However, they still talk every now and then and jokingly reference their failed attempt at romance.
-Mildew was the one who suggested the 'cousins' angle for him and Loopy in Jellystone!. Originally it was because they were both wolves...but Mildew genuinely began to connect with Loopy due to their similar sarcastic personalities and supported Loopy through her transition to a girl for Jellystone!.
-Mildew is also acquaintances with Snagglepuss due to their shared work as announcers on Laff-A-Lympics..though he wouldn't consider them friends because Snagglepuss' loud and overly theatrical personality can grate on his nerves.
-He gets along well with Ralph Wolf! He met Ralph through Bristlehound’s friend Sam Sheepdog…and the two clicked. It helps that Ralph is more down to earth compared to Mildew and is rather good
-Like Jellystone! has shown, Mildew Wolf is indeed bisexual. He does, however, lean more towards men.
Lambsy Divey:
-Doesn’t like being seen as “just a little lamb.” That sometimes means he takes reckless actions that get him into BIG trouble.
-Lambsy is very fashionable! He has a fondness for a mixture of cottagecore/punk outfits.
-Lambsy loves rock and roll music! His favorite rock and roll artists are the band Aerosmith.
-Like real sheep, Lambsy has a fondness for herbs! His favorite herbs would have to be basil and thyme.
-Lambsy has a fondness for people petting the wool on top of his head. And by people, he means Mildew and Bristlehound specifically. He doesn’t like anyone else touching the wool.
-Lambsy is a bit of a loner. He generally prefers his own company as well as that of Mildew and Bristlehound’s. Bristlehound has been trying to get him to socialize with the other Hanna Barbera kids, to rather rough results.
-Lambsy sees Mildew and Bristle as both his fathers and his best friends. He honestly couldn’t ask for a better family. Lambsy was actually the one who helped Bristlehound and Mildew get together.
Bristlehound:
-Out of all the Hanna Barbera Toons, Bristlehound is among the most physically strong and athletic. He lifts weights, he goes on jogs, he even bench presses!
-Bristlehound is an expert at stick-based martial arts. He can use his shepherd’s hook or any stick as a makeshift weapon at any time.
-Bristlehound really likes grapes! You’ll often catch him eating them in his spare time. He prefers purple grapes over green grapes, as he finds purple grapes to not be as overly sweet as green grapes.
-Is fond of baking and cooking! He makes all sorts of treats for Lambsy (and Mildew) to eat. He also sometimes bakes for the rest of the Hanna Barbera crew.
-Bristlehound originally described himself as Lambsy’s “mentor” rather than guardian…being that he was originally rather insecure of taking on full responsibility for Lambsy. After a fight with Lambsy over this that ended with Lambsy running away and found and brought back by Mildew was when Bristlehound finally accepted that Lambsy was his son in all but blood.
-Nowadays, he’s all but adopted Lambsy. While he sees Lambsy as his son, he’d still prefer for Lambsy to call him Bristlehound (as he’s not exactly ready for the “dad” title yet).
-Dating Mildew Wolf. Mildew’s goofiness and witty personality only makes Bristlehound fall in love with him even more.
-Friends with Spike Bulldog. Bristlehound has tried to get Lambsy to go on playdates with Tyke, but Lambsy REFUSES to even spend time with Tyke, being that Lambsy is so attached to Bristlehound and Mildew.
-Friends with Sam Sheepdog. Their similar steady-hearted yet kind presences and personalities resonate with each other quite nicely (and they also like to joke about protecting their sheep)

Cartoon Heroes Paper Cut-Outs
Shazzan
Created by Alex Toth and produced by Hanna-Barbera Productions, Shaman was a Saturday morning cartoon series that followed a pair of adolescent siblings, Chuck and Nancy, who have adventures aided by a powerful djinn named Shazzan. Chuck and Nancy had happened upon an ancient set of rings while exploring a cave off the coast of Maine. The rings transport the two to the fabled land of the Arabian Nights where they meet Shazzan.
The genie creates a magical flying camel named Kaboobie to serve as the siblings’ mode of transportation and gives them gifts like an invisibility cloak and a magic rope. Shazzan tells Chuck and Nancy that he cannot return them home until they deliver the two halves of the ring to its rightful owner known as the Wizard of the 7th Mountain. Whether or not the pair accomplished this task and were able to return home has yet to be revealed.
Actor Barney Phillips provided the voice of Shaman. The series premiered in September of 1967 and ran for a single season.
