charlotte doesn’t really get why she’s doing this--- she graduated almost 2 years ago at this point but she finds herself back in an all too familiar frat house on a humid, hot summer night. beer in one hand, the redhead’s maneuvering her way through the crowd of dancing masses, annoyance etched on delicate features. it’s not until she manages to make it to the backyard that she feels like she can finally breathe. toeing her boots off, she takes a seat at the edge of the pool, dipping her feet in gingerly. spotting a familiar face, she shoots him a small smile, tucking a strand of hair behind her ear. “y’know, i expected you to be inside twerking up a storm or making out with some pretty blonde. sitting outside is for the boring homebodies like me, x.”
