As someone who was told early as a child that I was completely tone deaf, which in turn has made me dead scared of singing in a serious way around others, it was so nice and surprising when I dared to sing with my friend today and she really just stopped and stared at me and said my singing is really good. Like, I have enjoyed singing a lot ever since I broke away from bad people last year but I really didn’t think I was actually any good still. I was just convinced I couldn’t hear how bad I was.
