She Walks

Effortlessly, a dance is made with nothing but confidence.

Constant eyes continue to gaze as minds close like trap doors, scared of expression.

Thoughts passed down to them shoot at her red dress, her 6 inch heels, damage has not penetrated her confidence. 

Try to color in bullet holes with gray and white and only succeed in making blood vibrant.

Hands appear and tear fabric to pieces, but are no match to the strength of an open mind.

They break and crumble into seeds, they soil and grow into weeds and repeat what has already been repeated. 

She strips and walks on naked, letting new weeds grow from old seeds. 

Pain and anger following in her direction, yet she is not scared for she understands. 

They must hate as she walks, so she can walk faster.
