My current skin care routine
I hope you enjoy my loves!😊
Heads up this is a long post lol….
morning cleanse: I use Yes To Tomatoes charcoal micellar cleansing water to clean my face when I first wake up. I love how gentle this stuff is and my face feels super clean without feeling dry.
night cleanser: My face wash. It feels super foamy and creamy. It’s very gentle and it won’t over dry your face. It’s a bit on the pricier side but mine has lasted since the beginning of may.
exfoliation: I use the SkinFood pineapple peeling gel to exfoliate. I use this 2-3x a week. My skin feels super soft and smooth after using this. It’s very affordable and it is much gentler alternative to using face scrubs.
toner: I mostly use this at night. A bit pricier but lasts like 3-4 months. Also extremely gentle.
acne medication: I use Curology and a clindamycin/tretinoin topical prescription I get from the derm, at night. I use both together and they have made a huge difference in my acne, scarring, and pigmentation by like 85%. For all of you who have never heard of Curology you can visit the website cause I don’t feel like explaining how it works again lol.
essence: I use this only at night. A bit pricey but once again it lasts forever. My skin feels softer, more supple, and it’s brighter since using this. I use this as like a serum at night.
daytime moisturizer: Expensive but lasts forever as well. It’s very light but still gives enough hydration. Perfect daytime moisturizer.
night: moisture I use this every other night. I think this is like $45. It won’t break you out. It’s extremely good for texture, pigmentation, and actually helps with inflammation. It is jammed pack with vitamin C which is great for brightening. Lasts forever too!
night & day moisture & serum: I’m in love with this line. Expensive once again but so worth it.
I use the rose gold oil during the day. It has rose-hip oil in it which we all know helps hyper-pigmentation. It’s a great daytime moisturizer. I highly recommend this in the winter.
I use the unicorn essence during the day as a serum. It’s jammed packed with antioxidants and vitamin C. It also works as amazing primer! A lot of beauty bloggers use this stuff.
I use the volcanic oil every other night. It’s a bit heavier than the rose gold but it helps inflammation, acne prone skin, texture, hyper-pigmentation, and dark spots.
These oils shouldn’t break you out either!
night creme: I love this night creme. I don’t really need to use it but since I live in Colorado I like to have extra moisture. This is also expensive but it’ll last 3-6 months. It has ampoule in it. Ampoules contain active ingredients like vitamin C, peptides and hyaluronic acid. Many ampoules also include antioxidant rich botanical ingredients to help nourish the skin and fight free radicals.
aloe vera gel: I use this aloe vera gel only at night. It’s very cooling and soothing. Aloe vera helps redness, inflammation, and is jammed packed with vitamins and antioxidants. I found this has really made a big difference with my post acne redness and scarring.
Obviously some of these products are a bit pricey but there are more affordable brands such as SkinFood and The Face Shop. I can’t think of any other brands at the top of my head but memebox is a great place to look for all kinds of brands and reviews.
I highly recommend all these products. They work really well for me as I barely break out now but everyone has different skin so this routine may not work for others.
Either way I hope this helps!
Please share to pass on the love💖
