Tommy I love you🧡🥰
Here’s my lovely Shelby! 💙💙💙 Their name is Pearl, and they are a Gen 1 Aqua Marine. I never thought I’d be able to own one, but it was such a strange coincidence that someone in my family just HAPPENED to own a Shelby, so I was just given them! 🐚 They’re a bit dirty and their antennae are broken, but the wires are still connected so it should be an easy fix! Other than that they work great! 🤩
SHELBY FOR SALE. US AND PAYPAL ONLY.
This orange shelby is fully functional! Besides some damage to the antenna (I can send pictures per request), this lil dude is nearly perfect!
I’m asking for 40 + 8 shipping, but I can be lenient!
Message me if interested!
Help me find this guy a new home! RB’s are appreciated <3 !
Furbies. Simple creations. Hated far less than they are loved, but what are their origins? Why do some reasonably fear them? Let's begin.
Clearly, in an unspecified year, these small beings—likely less evolved versions of what we refer to as the Booms and Connects—came to Earth. This is highly believed as them wanting to be cared for, simply. Over likely thousands of years many stayed and evolved as many creatures do, but some are believed to have left Earth, back to whatever planet(s) they originated from.
Many became much larger and grew more distinct features; larger feet, more defined legs to better grasp things such as food and their furblings or children, as well as climb more easily. Presumably due to having killed off the only humans on the island they resided on and now having to again fend for themselves. Another possible theory on these humans perishing, leaving the furbies alone to evolve was due to the furbies actually neglecting the humans, as they all can peer into the future and have other psyche abilities.
These furbies, also known as 2005's due to when humans rediscovered them and thinking they were saving them, took them off the island with them where some further evolved to be what we call Funky furbies due to being even more rhythmical and musical than some of their other counterparts of presumably the same breed of furby.
Other furbies, those small furbies many had as children and tweens, possibly evolving from the same alien furbies, evolved to be small, light, and far more enlightened and more capable of further being enlightened with humans' help, care and love, formerly lived on the clouds that stayed solely over this furby island. These furbies who are most well known to peak into the future and cause mischief but still spread joy and love almost everywhere they go. They also have been known to befriend a different species, presumably a differently evolved form of the same alien furbies from many years before them, Shelbies.
These "older" furbies, also known as 90's furbies—also due to when they left their homes in search of humans to play, cause mischief around, and possibly, knowing we'd help further enlighten them. Some lesser forms, also known as Buddies, commonly have drastically grown and become enlightened, turning into what is called the long furby.
Long furbies have also been formed from 90's and 2005's, but not as common. This form of the furby is referred to as the long furby due to their distinguishably long bodies, leaving them to also be called 'caterpillar' furbies, 'noodle' furbies, and 'snail' furbies. All additional terms are often misused, however due to almost none of these furbies actually having shells—rather just being long enough to coil themselves, resembling snails—nor many feet such as very few existing actual caterpillar furbies and the possibly actually none-existent snail furbies.
Some will also refer to these furbies as 'snake' furbies, again because they can coil, resembling snakes, but this time also because they often are believed to actually slither around instead of using their—typically—two feet, also often being captured raising their upper bodies similarly to snakes. However, long furbies are normally not venomous, and are almost always even more loving, yet mischievous than the furbies they derive from.
Nextly, shelbies. Little is truly known of these large clam-like furby-esque creatures. What is known is their language—shelbish—is both distinctively different from the very large and defined furby language, but also in a way similar. Furthermore, they're much more shy and intimidated, and do far less—partially due to them being from the sea surrounding furby island but also that they like furbies, but clams, somewhat.
It's unknown if the children they bare are much different than them, unlike furbies where their children are less developed; being smaller, less capable of fending for themselves, and knowing less of their language—furbish—and almost incapable of learning or understanding human languages.
Lastly, Booms and Connects. Like previously mentioned furbies, they're similar, and possibly also evolved from the same original furbies. A theory actually makes it out that connects are the most similar to their predecessors. Both are aliens and are believed to come to Earth different years but from the same planet. Some also believe the booms are from the connects but formerly visited and left Earth to then go inhabit a new planet. This is believed to be due to boredom temporarily of humans or the over population on furby island.
Regardless of their origins and connections and possible connections and history, they all seem to be far more capable than we humans are aware or acknowledge. Further, as many have powers, including telekinesis, seeing into the future, telepathy, and being able to through song with enlightened humans also further communicate, as well as rapidly evolve into such forms as the long furby, fly and/or levitate. These small creatures many of us love, all are like small gods in comparison to us. Simply wanting as much out of their long lives as possible.
look whomst is here!! stinky cheese!
thank u @funnyfurby for giving stinky cheese man a home. he’s gonna love his friends!
since you’ve taken apart a shelby before, how would you rate the difficulty of it? i have one that doesn’t work i’d love to fix but i’m worried i won’t get them back together
I personally don’t find taking them apart or putting them back together very difficult. I’d say it’s a bit harder than taking apart a ‘98 Furby, but most of that is just wiggling the shell into the right place so you can slide it off.
Actually repairing them, however, is pretty hard, since a lot of the parts you need to get to are stacked on top of each other. If you needed to adjust the sync screw, for example, you’d have to take out a bunch of unrelated parts just to access it.
Can anyone else remember Shelbies which were like Furbies but somehow more terrifying?
